Since 1985, we have provided environmental consulting services to a wide variety of private and public-sector clients. Located in Denver, Colorado, we have consulted on projects in 48 of the United States, as well as the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Our work focuses on environmental due diligence, brownfield development, and practical environmental risk management for risk-averse investors, developers, and legal counsel.
Leonard Slosky is an environmental scientist with over 30 years of experience. He is an active member of the ASTM committee that developed the 2005 ASTM Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process. Mr. Slosky is a Professional Environmental Scientist (Colorado) and a Registered Environmental Assessor (California).
As advisor to the purchaser of one city block of the former Gates Rubber Company manufacturing complex, Slosky & Company conducted soil, soil gas, groundwater, and building materials testing for the demolition of three manufacturing buildings. Assistance was provided in obtaining a No Further Action letter from the state environmental agency.
Leonard Slosky provided expert witness testimony in deposition and at trial regarding the development of a low-level radioactive waste disposal facility in the State of California. Mr. Slosky's testimony addressed the national compact system, site development costs, need for the California facility, and historic and future waste disposal quantities.
