Claudia Robbins established Tumi Staffing in 2005 to provide a high level of professionalism to Hospitality Staffing, by providing contract workers who have the same commitment to service and work ethic as the hotel's direct hire employees. Claudia is extremely hands-on in the selection of employees, preferring to interview each one personally before a hiring decision is made.
Stephen Robbins brings over 25 years of hospitality experience to Tumi Staffing. Having served as Executive Housekeeper with the award winning luxury Wynfrey Hotel at the Galleria in Birmingham, Alabama, as well as the Historic Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina, Robbins knows firsthand what a difference the right staff can make in quality and service delivery.
We hire associates as employees not independent contractors, ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws. There are many federal and state laws as well that guide an employer to adopt appropriate hiring and employment practices. These apply equally to both the hotel as a direct employer of personnel as well as staffing companies who may provide workers for you.

I really can’t believe I was sent out to a job that the manager had no idea about me even supposed to start working there… that was a very embarrassing. Not only that, I reached out to the lady that sent me the start date and time and she did not respond nor reach back out to me at all. I wasted my time and my gas. She could have said that what the other lady Arlen said over the phone. This place is really out here playing with people and I don’t like that. Stuff like that makes me feel like they are out here scamming people. I would never trust these people. They need to be reported.
