I am Steve Moore, owner of Moore Truck Sales. The second generation of a respected and trusted family name in automotive sales in the West Georgia area. My Dad, Willard Moore, started as a used car salesman in the mid 50's, eventually owning the local Chevrolet franchise until health issues forced him to retire and sell out.
I grew up working in our family business, Willard Moore Chevrolet, but my desire was to attempt to pursue a career in NASCAR Winston Cup racing - now the Monster Energy Series. As an Owner/Driver of a Grand National team, I fielded race cars sporadically in the years 1977 until 1988. Racing at Talledega, Atlanta, Charlotte, Michigan, Darlington, Rockingham, and even qualified and ran in the 1988 Daytona 500.
