Growing up in the construction business with our father, we realized at a very young age that we wanted to continue the "Seifert Building Tradition" that has been in our family for three generations. As partners we shared the same dreams, visions and passion for what we found was our calling. Together we have been able not only to build clients homes but to turn their dreams into reality.

You can't blame custom homebuilders Fred and John Seifert for being fussy about building materials. The brothers own and operate Seifert Construction, a third-generation eastern Long Island-based homebuilder specializing in second and third homes valued up to $10 million. They deliver about 10 projects a year.
When I first considered building a custom home, I thought if the motion picture Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House. Perhaps you remember the story of a contractor and his subcontractors, continuously conspiring to make Cary Grant's life and endless series of catastrophes. Building my home with Seifert Construction has, in fact, been one of the most incredibly exciting and really fun experiences of my life.

My wife and i decided to purchase a home on the north fork. But after renovating several homes in the past we did not want to do it again. We looked at 40 or 50 homes over the next year before deciding in order to get what we wanted we had to do it again and ended purchasing a home that needed a gut renovation. We found our home and selected an architect. The architect recommended Seifert construction. After going through the bidding process we decided we were most comfortable with John and Fred Seifert.
