Tucked in the heart of historic Savannah, Georgia, Coastal Compounding Pharmacy has been growing steadily to meet the needs of our wonderful customers. Compounding is the ability to make a custom medication to meet the specific need of each individual. Compounding pharmacists have been trained in the art and science of making each prescription individualized to fit each patient's body.
At Coastal Compounding Pharmacy, we are committed to providing you with medications that meet your unique health needs. Sometimes, patients require medications to be blended in a specific way. To prevent an allergic reaction by removing a non-essential ingredient such as dyes, sugar, lactose, or alcohol.

We were coming down the coast on vacation when I accidentally threw away my son’s (literal life or death) medication when cleaning out the car at a gas station. I called my pharmacist, who contacted coastal. These guys had his compound medication ready as I was passing through Savannah. They went above and beyond for my son and I am eternally grateful and cannot praise them enough.

I have used coastal compounding for 5 years without any issues. As of this past fall I have had a completely different experience. I am not sure what has changed but it is very disappointing. They have always promptly and properly compounded my cats methimazole until I went to pick it up in September. It was completely liquified, and the staff tried telling me it was because I let it get too warm. They did replace it and the exact same thing happened again. The pharmacist the second time admitted that they were having a problem with this particular dosage and had made some changes and had fixed
