Jim is originally from Plymouth, Massachusetts, and has a B.S. in accounting from Bryant University in Rhode Island.
After a career in the financial industry with Deloitte Haskins and Sells, and Merrill Lynch, Jim came to San Antonio in 1987 and worked in real estate development and homebuilding. He and John Friesenhahn started Imagine Homes in 2006 from a desire to bring the latest technology available into building design.

My wife and I purchased our first home, and Imagine Home a couple of months ago. We decided to buy a new town home, built in 2018, as opposed to an older house specifically because its our first home and we didn't want to deal with costly remodeling or ongoing expenses that come with an older home. Fast forward to today and it turns out the main sewage line under foundation is cracked.
Even though Imagine Homes fixed this for another home exactly like mine just two houses down (all homes look the same, they are town homes), outside of their "plumbing" warranty, they are not doing the same for

I unfortunately need to update my review. Everything below was written a year ago after I moved in and remains true. A year layer with poor drainage between the houses I am left with a swamp that has not been addressed. This is common with the Claremont homes in my neighborhood. if you are buying one of these houses please be mindful of the drainage problem between the houses that eventually turns into a mud pile. We ended up paying around $1,000 to have a contractor place stones there to fix the problem.

The quality of Imagine Homes is excellent!!! These homes are so well insulated our utility bills are about a third of other non imagine homes in my neighborhood and our house is about 500 square feet larger!! I can go on and on about the quality and attention to detail. I want to give a special shout out to Bridget she is great and was always there to answer any questions and Bridget has always responded the same day.

I love the floorplans shown on their webpage but apparently the office address shown isn't a manned office so in turn the hours shown as open are confusing. I would really like to get with someone personally to go through what they have to offer but the webpage doesn't have up to date information. We like a few of their floorplans for purposes of building on our property.

We had a terrific experience working with Imagine Homes. They worked with us very well and built our home in a timely manor. The project managers were great to work with. There were a few hiccups, but we worked together to find win-win solutions. The quality of the building is excellent. We highly recommend them as a home builder for you.
