After the crazy snow storm earlier this year, we had a lot of hanging limbs stuck in our trees, two trees had fallen down and needed to be cut up for fire wood, and there were tons of downed large limbs. In addition to that, we wanted 3 very large trees removed that had branches overhanging our deck and house.
We will provide policy documents upon request. You can also verify our insurance policy through the Oregon State Construction Contractor Board. We accept cash, check, debt and credit (3% credit fee). Check is our preferred form of payment. Full payment is due upon completion of the job, unless otherwise arranged prior to contractual agreement.

We had a tree break off during the wind storm this week and it landed on the roof of our house and a large limb punched through the roof and into a bedroom. I contacted Karhu tree Service and they responded within an hour. I received a bid to do the work and the price was very reasonable. The crew was out and on the job the following morning. I was very impressed with the skill they all had and the speed the work was accomplished. I had them remove the remaining tree to prevent any future damage. The cleanup was above and beyond complete. Overheard the owner of this business (Brandon Karhu) being incredibly rude to a local restaurant employee while I was out having dinner with my wife. Refused to wear a mask, and berated a young woman as well. Very unprofessional, especially for a "business" owner. Wouldn't recommend hiring someone who thinks they are above the law.

I called and Brandon was out the next day to provide a quote to bring down 3 diseased birch trees. He and one helper showed up to do the work as planned. They protected my yard/plants/fences and quickly brought down the trees, saving the larger pieces for me and chipping the rest.
I was impressed with their speed and safety. Also, as a team, they had excellent communication with each other in a loud environment. I highly recommend Brandon and Karhu Tree Service and plan to use them again.

Karhu removed 4 very large conifers in a tight backyard for us. From the bid to the finished project they were the most professional, prompt and polite group of guys I have ever worked with. Just incredible. Very reasonable price as well. Impeccable clean-up. I will NEVER call anyone else for any type of tree service again. If your trees need attention, give them a call. You will not be disappointed!!

We contacted them and got a quote the same day. The quote was very reasonable and the work was completed within days of receiving it. They took down a very large oak that was close between two houses. It didn't look like an easy job to me, but they took it down no problem. The crew of three was fast and professional and left the area clean. I'd highly recommend Karhu.

We contacted Karhu Tree Service about cutting down a dying tree. Brandon did an excellent job providing feedback about the tree’s viability and our options. He was able to provide quotes while on site. His quote was very reasonable. All the better, he was able to fit us in between other jobs so the tree was gone within just a few days. Karhu made sure to protect my plants and fencing as they removed the tree. They hauled out all of the wood and made sure everything was spotless after. Thank you Brandon and Karhu Tree Service!

Brandon and his crew were excellent! I had a big 60ft Maple Tree that had died and needed to be removed from my backyard. I got quotes from 4 different places (all were licensed, bonded, insured, and had good online reviews) and Brandon's was the least expensive. Two of the quotes were actually double what Brandon quoted me. The other guys had told me it was a very complicated and dangerous job. Brandon didn't seem worried at all though. Great experience with this company. Scheduled an estimate for several trees to be removed. Brandon came over and gave me a reasonably priced estimate and I scheduled three trees to be removed. I received a reminder text for our appointment a few days before and the crew showed up on time! The trees were removed and clean up was done as well. Everything was great from start to finish. I will be having Brandon remove a couple more trees in my back yard in the near future!
