SeaJay Environmental provides a broad range of specialty environmental, energy policy, and other technical support services. We provide effective and comprehensive project support, and we take pride in producing the highest quality product. Carliane Johnson has been leading a storm water runoff monitoring team at the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve.

In this role she has demonstrated her intelligence and reliability in conducting the sampling, which often occurs during nighttime hours. She has an impressive ability to make quick and wise decisions and adjust to challenging situations in the field during storms. Ms. Carliane Johnson of SeaJay Environmental helped immensely with data processing and in developing procedures for data synthesizing.
Services
As the owner and principal biologist for SeaJay Environmental, Carliane brings more than 25 years of experience in energy policy, regulatory support and environmental consulting. Carliane received her B.Sc in Biology and Chemistry from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida.

She was trained and certified as a science diver under the NOAA Diving Program, and is currently a search and recovery diver for the Alameda County (CA) Sheriff's Department.She is a certified Protected Species Observer through training provided by Geo-Marine, Inc. in Plano, Texas. She is also trained and experienced in the National Incident Management System.
SeaJay Environmental can provide dive support services for your projects. Ms. Johnson is a highly qualified science diver with experience in the Gulf of Mexico, Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

Ecology and Environment, Inc. Managed the dive team tasked with ground-truthing marine communities (from nearshore out to 100-foot depths using satellite maps that provided baseline images) for a proposed pipeline route near Freeport Harbour, Grand Bahama Island.Member of the dive team conducting surveys for invasive species in the kelp forests between Monterey and Carmel, California.
Over the ensuing semester, students Olivia, Ivy and Isabella met several times with Carliane Johnson, the owner and principal biologist of Seajay Environmental. We discussed the mission of the firm and they provided their initial ideas that allowed me to give them feedback. At the end of the semester, they offered five final designs to choose from that visually represent the work and mission of the company.
