These days braces for kids are the norm on playgrounds and in schools. Frankly speaking, almost all children would benefit from some degree of orthodontic treatment. For some, it is purely cosmetic. At Shasta Orthodontics, we do not offer removable braces systems like Invisalign. In my 25+ years as an orthodontist, I have evaluated Invisalign in depth and, more tellingly, I have had many patients who were treated with Invisalign before they visited my office. I have been consistently disappointed with the results of this kind of orthodontic.
