My name is Alyssa, owner of Alyssa Arlene Events. I currently live in Lafayette with my husband, Jeffery; my son, Gabriel; and my daughter, Evelyn. When I'm not planning weddings, I love being outside, reading (serious book worm), growing my faith, working out and hanging with my kiddos - keep me on my toes almost as much as my brides!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alyssa and her team for many weddings and I can’t say enough great things about her! To know Alyssa is to love her! Her personality on top of her organization and design skills are the perfect recipe when planning a wedding. Wedding days are packed with such special moments and to be quite honest, lots of stress. 100/10 recommend this angel of a woman as a wedding planner. I had Alyssa for 30 days prior to my wedding and for my wedding day. My only regret is not booking her from the get go! She made sure that all of my expectations were met to give me the wedding of my dreams. She took care of everything from start to finish and always answered my texts/emails in a timely manner. I really could not have done it without her. BOOK HER AS YOUR WEDDING PLANNER, you won’t regret it.

BJ and I can’t recommend Alyssa enough for wedding planning! She was an absolute dream to work with throughout our wedding planning process. She responded quickly to my mom and I, offered quality advice and suggestions, and made our wedding day flow so smoothly. We had the most special day because of her services. There was nothing to worry about at all! We were able to enjoy spending time with our family and friends rather than worrying about decorating and making sure everything was in place. Without a doubt the best decision we made when planning our daughter's wedding was hiring Alyssa! Debated about which service to go with and ended up choosing the Full Service - and was so very pleased. With all the COVID changes that ended up happening during our planning, this was a Godsend! Alyssa was heaven sent! I was in my first year of PhD school and she took some of the biggest “wedding planning stress” off my hands. I had many of my vendors already picked out (location, caterer, florist, cake person), but I still went with her full package because after meeting her, I knew I needed all of her smiles and positive vibes to be with me through the whole process. She made my outside wedding an over the top success.
