You've just taken the next step in the process of transformation! We have all fallen, we have all hit our bottom. Only then are we able to rebuild, with loving support, and rise to achieve our full potential.

Oxford House is located in the beautiful city of Pasadena in southern California, where we have been helping men and women for years to maintain sobriety by creating a caring, therapeutic community environment that continues to nourish a rejuvenated soul. The proverb quoted above shows us that life is a journey, not a destination.

We received our recovery from the God of our understanding, so we now make ourselves available as His tool to share recovery with those who seek it. Most of us learn in time that we can only carry our message to someone who is asking for help. Sometimes the only message necessary to make the suffering addict reach out is the power of example.
At the Oxford House, we believe that a healthy body leads to a healthy spirit. Our pantries are stocked with all the supplies you need to create a nutritious meal - no one need go hungry. At Oxford House, a sober community means a caring, safe, and fun place to live! Pasadena is a vibrant city with much to do and see.

This is our twelfth suggestion: Carry this message to other alcoholics! You can help when no one else can. You can secure their confidence when others fail.
