I just closed two difficult loans with Greenbox and I can say that both teams that handled my two loans were spectacular. They were on top of things, efficient, understanding, patient and flexible. The Regional Sales Manager John was the best to work with. He knew his stuff and was as caring about my borrowers as much as I. I am closing two simultaneous ITIN loans with Greenbox this week and I would give them 10 stars if I could. I had two UW teams and both teams and their account managers were on top of the files. They were efficient, understanding, patient, responsive, and knowledgeable and gave great care to my two files. We had to extend the closing date 4 times, we submitted docs multiple times but they were never reviewed by underwriting again, and again, and again. Also, they will blame it all on everyone else except for themselves. Please, if you want to keep your earnest money and your sanity in tact, I FORBID YOU TO USE

Being a LO and knowing all ins and outs, process and steps necessary to close a deal, I can say with 100% confidence that Greenbox Loans team really took care of my buyer. We needed an unconventional lending and we got it. Jumbo loans take 35-45 days to close and John M team did it in 17 business day, WOW. This deal was very unique and complex for most but not for this guys, they knew exactly how to approach it and how to work it to the end. Of coarse any self employed income loan is a hassle and of coarse there are some nerves involved but at the end of the day we have a family who is moving into

Do not use this place, total scammers. I was literally $800 away from paying off my note ($68,000 originally) and they decided to hit us up with a $3,000 termination fee because we had a second funding source, simultaneously. Our broker said that was fine. Everything was paid. You'll regret it after you sign the documents. Seemingly, this will never be paid off because I'm sure we will get more fees for some reason.

Chris Trahan at Greenbox Loans is a great asset to the company. He is very responsive to anything I need regarding loans I submit to Greenbox as a broker. He is very helpful and truly a "partner" of mine in the business. Also Greenbox's system is very well laid out and easy to use. Greenbox did a phenomenal job yet and again for our client. John Madarang & his team (Sofia) kept us in the loop from start to finish. It was a tricky purchase loan that needed to go the non QM route that other lenders couldn't pull off. They just made our client's the happiest people in the world. John is my go to guy for my entire branch. He does it right from the start. If it is not going to work, he won't waste your time. I'm sure there are buyers out there with an abundance of time and resources, and so they can easily navigate the loan process. That wasn't the case for us. It has been many years since I brokered out a loan. I work exclusively with my own in-house loans. I issued a pre-approval for a deal that it turned out, with more scrutiny of the businesses tax-returns I could not do in house. First and foremost, I want to start by thanking all of the professionals that handled my customers file at GreenBox Loans. Gray, Pia, Angela, and of course Carla's team knocked it out of the park for my customer and me. Gray was able to answer all of my questions related to how we should structure the transaction and process/UW was ALWAYS on their game when communicating. The file was UW'n fairly and accurately. So unprofessional. I contacted this firm mid September 2020 to get help with refi. After the conversation I had with mr. Kohanbash, I provided him with all the requested documents to start the process but he or his team didn't follow up with me even after I requested an update on my file more than once.
I would not recommend this firm to anyone or any case involving urgency since there is a serious lack.

Getting a jumbo loan during COVID was difficult at best. Add in being self-employed and it is next to impossible during this time. The rules were always changing and the market seemed to dry up overnight. Greenbox provides a specialized product that is not for everyone. The process is intense, frustrating, and takes longer than a traditional loan. The positive is we were able to close our loan and purchase our home. This, however, was not an easy task to achieve. It took a lot of effort by my broker, myself, and senior leadership at Greenbox up to and including the CEO granting an exception

* He is honest with you. He told me upfront there was a really low chance of success for my loan given my circumstances, but he gave his 100% and made it happen.

Keith V, thinks I have 0 understanding of loans. I use to underwrite for Comerica Bank and US bank and I underwrite loans for real estate developers not the joke loans you guys work on. I run min $10 million loan up to $1 billion range and for publicly traded companies. Before you go on thinking this is a fake review by some uneducated person.
