I chose this place because of the great reviews. I don’t know how they got 4.8 stars. I sat in the office for nearly 5 hours, and the Dr made my prescription too strong. Called to get it changed after a few days and they’re making me go back in again, I tried to explain that with 3 kids I don’t have that kind of time for a pair of contacts. I have never had such a poor experience at an eye doctors office. Try someone else unless you have a whole day to dedicate to an eye exam.

Very disappointed with the follow up care I received. My exam was fine and the prescription was decent, but questionable. After the exam, I was told the office would call to make sure the new script was acceptable. No one called and after two weeks I stopped in with a question about the script. The Lazenby employee immediately jumped down my throat and dissmissed my concerns despite not knowing any of the details (I had a specific request related to my job). No alternative trial lenses were offered and I was informed speaking with the optometrist wouldn't change anything. I wasn't happy, but I

Lazenby is the eyecare center I would most certainly use if I lived in Missouri and recommend to everyone who lives in the Joplin area. On June 26 my mom and I spent the night in Joplin on our annual road trip to visit multiple National Park Service properties. The next morning one of my contacts tore and as luck would have it, I forgot to pack an extra set.
After a quick google search and calling around, the team at Lazenby was more than willing to confirm my prescription with my eye doctor back home in Texas and give a replacement pair from their trial inventory. How is that for service and
