Visiting the family , we decided to try the pit beef at bayside bull. The meat was tender but lacked that smoky char I was expecting ..still a good sandwich . Tried the turkey , wasn't that thrilled with it ..basically is like a smoked deli meat rather than real turkey . Chaps still has the best pit beef I've had in Maryland...

I’ve been coming for the pit beef sandwich for as long as I can even remember and will definitely go out of my way to make the trip there. This place is one of the hidden gems that everyone should know of.
Not… only is it hands down the best bbq/pit beef around but the sides are out of this world. Mac&Cheese so good that you’ll dream of it any time you taste other Mac. Fries that are dropped in the oil right before your eyes and the sauces, oh man the sauce selection is so diverse there’s one for everyone. So they’ve got killer sandwiches, sides so good your grandma

Quick and friendly service along with yummy food. This is a spot many of my coworkers and I frequent since it is close to our office when we take our lunch break. The prices are fair and they have a decent selection of sides and beverages. They do not skimp on the condiment options either. Overall, it is a great spot to grab lunch.

The atmosphere is friendly and a bit noisy, the fans mean the pit boss has to yell a bit to get your order. Good guys work here and they take good care of the customers.
They serve a good pit beef sandwich, though it was a bit closer to medium than medium rare. I usually have it with onions then add a touch of BBQ sauce mixed with horseradish. (horseradish is from the cashier, BBQ sauce/ketchup is from the dispenser at the back of the store)
This time I added a side of chili. The sandwich is tasty and has a good amount of beef, though it isn't overstuffed. I do wish it was a bit more on the

As always I'm never disappointed when I decide to make the drive from Annapolis. I've been eating with ya since way back to the old location when it was just the walk up window on the deck. Had my usual Pit… turkey and as usual it did not disappoint ,always moist so much meat for the money. I recommend you over all your competitors. If they're even an issue

Tonight was my first time partaking of the Bayside Bull's offerings. Deeply saddened thinking about all the lousy takeout meals on which I wasted $$$$ because I was unaware that heaven on earth really DOES exist (and is located at Central Avenue & Pike Ridge Road). Can't remember the last time I had takeout that tasted even better than that promised by the restauranteurs AND the reviewers. Bayside Bull delivers...and at a reasonable price! God willing and the creek don't rise, my family and I will be regular customers for a long time coming.

This spot has amazing food. We got the rare pit beef sandwich and pulled pork with coleslaw sandwich. Both were excellent and tender! The pulled pork had great seasoning and sauce.. The fries are also delicious. They have a selection of sauce for you to try as well. Overall, I would come back :) worth the drive.

Another amazing experience at Bayside! We were so hungry we waited outside the door a few minutes before opening(which I'm sure is annoying) but regardless, we were greeted with smiling eyes above a fitted mask! All the employees were clean, masked up and very hard at work. They were patient and kind while we mulled over the menu and helped us choose what we wanted today! The steak and cheese with mushroom sauce was the special of the day so we got that, tiger sauce on the side and a bunch of BBQ to go for dinner tonight! The sandwich was amazing, per usual. Delicious! The smoked pork sandwich was quite a hefty meal. Because of the nicely seasoned fries, I only managed to eat half of it. Slaw, on the side, was a nice addition. The spouse got the pit beef sandwich and complained that he couldn't stop eating. Will have to try other menu items on our next trip. Thank you!

This place is GREAT! I passed it a lot going to visit my niece and nephew who live out there - I never thought much of it. But then we got beef and pork sandwiches in May there and I have already been back 5 times. This food is the real deal. High quality meat, perfectly proportioned buns, great French fries and other sides too. They don't mess around - they ask you if you want fries the minute the door closes behind you because the fries take a little longer to fry fresh. The sandwiches are enough to fill me up and I eat a lot. I always get the pork and I add raw onions to it - YUM

Bayside has been around for decades right off Central Ave in Edgewater. My family has been ordering their bbq for carryout lunches and for catered parties for years. Inside there's not much space and you can't eat inside. The people are really friendly and quick to greet and take your order. I recommend the pit beef and the pulled pork. Their chili is delicious as well. The sides that I have tried: coleslaw, potato salad, and baked beans are very tasty. The fries are always hot and fried to order. They aren't true fresh cut fries, but are still good. I wish they were more

I've passed this place several times and finally had time to stop by. I was met with smiles and plenty of suggestions and even a few free samples to help me order.
I ended up ordering this Italian sausage loaded with NC bbq and all the toppings...it was certainly sloppy and all over my beard but it was worth every penny. Menu is small and straight to the point...I wouldn't classify this place as your typical bbq place, it's a little out of the ordinary as they serve sliced meets and the minced bbq is more like a topping on top. I didn't really notice any indoor seating but

We have driven by Bayside Bull 9 or more times. Never again, will we drive by. We will stop and order delightful food to go!
1. I had the Carolina style, wow!
2. My wife had the turkey (she says wow)
Fun place, old fashioned BBQ. Wonderful sauces and the ColeSlaw was to die for!

This place had great sandwiches and fast service. The only complaint I have is that they don't have a bathroom or even a place to wash your hands, you have to go to a filthy port-a-John to use the bathroom. I know it's a carry out spot but they could at least have a sink to wash your hands.
After going across the street to use the bathroom and wash my hands I really enjoyed my 2 sandwiches and delicious french fries. I also had a great Arnold Palmer, with free refill I might add!

Bayside Bull has been my go to place for Open Pit Beef Sandwiches for over 20 years. I have fond memories of the old trailer they used to be housed in. The Pit Beef and that is the only thing I get is always perfectly rare, the only addition I make is the horseradish. The beef is always juicy and no additional sauce is needed.
Service is always quick, staff is friendly and the prices are fair. Look forward to many more visits over the next 20 plus years.
