Dr. Michael Mendoza graduated from California State University Los Angles with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992. He then went on to chiropractic school at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and graduated in 1996.
Dr. Mendoza received an Industrial Disabilities Evaluator certificate from the California Chiropractic Association in 2000 and became a state appointed Qualified Medical Examiner within the California Workers Compensation system in 2001.Dr. Mendoza has had extensive experience within the med-legal arena but his true calling has always been Chiropractic for the maintenance of health and well being.

Mendoza Chiropractic is located in the Northeast Los Angeles community of Eagle Rock, close to the corners of Colorado Blvd. Our office accepts most PPO, HMO and Medicare insurance policies and offer affordable rates for paying cash. Our Eagle Rock office remains open for late evenings and we do offer Saturday hours and can accommodate same-day appointments.
One of the primary chiropractic techniques utilized by Dr. Mendoza is "spinal adjustment", or "chiropractic adjustment". These terms refer to physical manipulation of the spinal vertebrae that extends from your neck down to your lower back. The purpose of chiropractic adjustments is to reduce subluxation of the of the vertebrae - which simply means the spine is misaligned - and to restore the spine to a more aligned, more natural state of health.

Was able to squeeze me in and get my body back on the right track. Two visits, pretty good, but I'll be heading back soon for maintenance.
Parking behind business and behind Wells Fargo bank, street parking also.
There is a 4% fee for using credit cards Or ATM, bring cash to avoid that.
All in all, very glad to have found them.
Check with your insurance, to see if it's accepted there, double check that the office accepts your insurance.

Dr. Mendoza is the best chiropractor in Los Angeles -- without a doubt. I have been going to him for adjustments for about 8 years and in times of stress, he's very reassuring to have because I always feel better afterward. Words can't describe how grateful I am for Dr. Mendoza. Came in a couple of years ago in 2019 for an injury that left me in a great deal of pain. Couldn't walk or sit upright. I came in absolutely miserable not knowing what to expect.
Dr. Mendoza was kind, attentive, and caring. After my first adjustment, I walked out slightly taller and in less pain. I almost cried in relief as I slowly walked back to my car. After a few adjustments over the course of a couple of months, I felt almost back to normal.

Fantastic place. Got into a car accident on the 16th of April. Hired a Personal Injury attorney who referred me to Dr. Mendoza. He's been treating me and my father. He's actually improved our pain. It's nearly impossible to get a hold on them. I did not hear back from them when I initially contacted their office via contract form on their website. A week passed and I received no reply so I decided to give them call to ask a couple insurance related questions. I left a thorough voice message in hopes that someone would eventually reach out to me so I could go ahead and schedule an appointment. Another week passed and still no response. I recommend 100 percent! I was on the search for a local chiropractor that would charge a reasonable fee, at the time I didn't have insurance. A friend of mine gave me the referral to Dr. Mendoza. From the very first appointment I was very pleased with the customer service. The receptionist is very kind she remembers you and asks about how your family is doing (personal touch). Dr. Mendoza was very friendly and professional. I went in with really bad hip pain and I can honestly say I feel a lot better. Not fully healed yet of course because it does take time but after I got adjusted I feel a lot better. I do recommend if you are a first time as I was, you arrive earlier than your scheduled appointment so you have time to fill out the paper work. I would definitely recommend and definitely go back!

I called the office to inquire interested in making an appointment and seen on their list of ins carriers they accepted and seen that my ins and my boyfriend's ins was listed. I said yay, called them and explain that next week I was going on a road trip and had a pain issue. The receptionist took my ins info and said they will call me in about two days. I said great! It's been 6 days and a day before my road trip still no call back. I work in customer service for 17 years with a high volume of calls and transactions. Lost a new patient because of their negligence. I tried to make an appointment more than a week ago. I sent them my insurance card, so they could check if I can use it. I went there 2 days later to check because they never call me back. The receptionist told me that she has to call my insurance company because of some problems in the system. She said that she didn't have time to call them, but once she does, she will just give me a call. I went to other chiropractor on Friday and it took them less than 10 minutes to call my insurance company,because they couldn't find me in their system

It is so rare to find a chiropractic office that excels in every way possible. From Esther in the front office and his other staff to Dr. Mendoza himself, the mood is always geared to making the patient comfortable, relaxed, pain and stress-free.
Esther is always cheerful, kind, competent and accommodating. They always seem to get you in when they can, even if you are the one who messed up or forgot an appointment. I was so embarrassed by how I couldn't get my schedule straight after a bad car accident, but both the doc and Esther eased my uneasiness every time.

Referred to Dr. Mendoza from my family care specialist and so far had my first session this past sat and I am very satisfied. Got my back realigned and that relieved a lot of the lower back pain I was having. I work sitting down for 8 hrs plus a day Monday - Friday and that has contributed a lot to my neck, shoulder and lower back pain.
