Services
We are proud to embrace traditional values, diversity and innovation in honoring the spirit and life of each person we serve. Letting go of a loved one is usually a very difficult process. In order to provide your family peace-of-mind, our funeral home offers complete care, so you can focus on comforting each other as you prepare to say goodbye to someone dear to you.
When it comes time to care for a deceased loved one, you may feel overwhelmed and confused about the next steps and options. Our funeral home staff members are here and ready to help. Whether you'd like a funeral or a more creative celebration of life, we can assist you to select the funeral service options that hold the most meaning for you and your family.
Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
All we need to do is say the word "funeral" and within microseconds, you have an image in your mind of what a funeral looks like. This mental image comes from many sources: the geographical place, culture and society in which we live; our faith; our life experience.
Obviously then, a funeral service in Borneo would look very different from one held in Tanzania; there are even significant differences between the funerals held in ethnically and/or geographically diverse regions of North America.Yet, despite the differences, these funeral services have much in common.

A funeral service, whether traditional or more modern (memorial service or celebration-of-life), has two functions: to acknowledge the death and lifetime achievements of an individual and to bring grieving family members and friends together in support of one another during this difficult time. If you are interested in making funeral arrangements for a loved one, we invite you to call us to begin.

Sparks funeral home has always provided my family and I with a professional, respectful and honest funeral service. The staff is always courteous and respectful of you needs and I appreciate everything they have done for my family and I. This is a very difficult time for anyone that has to experience the death of a love one but Sparks funeral home makes the hard decisions easier and provides comforting support with the hard decisions. I would recommend Sparks funeral service for those who, unfortunately have to lay to rest a love one. May God bless everyone at Sparks funeral home and I wish when

Our family chose Sparks Funeral Home primarily because we wanted to support a FULLY locally owned business vs one that is owned & controlled by a larger corporation. Keeping all funds locally was important to us. Even though we were more familiar with the others in town, we chose Sparks for this reason. Now we are a thankful we did for many other reasons. As a completely locally owned business we dealt directly with the owner, the service was more family and friends oriented and we felt completely taken care of by the Sparks staff in all aspects. Everything was handled with gentleness and care

In Nov.Covid was very heavy in the area so a grave side arrangements for my Dad had to be made and I will give the funeral home that, it went well.
All the trouble came after though as I could not get a death certificate for months, Dad's grave was sunken in really bad all the way till April and when questioned,, the covid and weather was blamed for that. Then to top it all, I come up Memorial Day and find his military tombstone still wasnt there, it was laying in lot since April

The Sparks Funeral Home is nothing less than top class in all aspects of service. We held my Mothers funeral there back in November 2020 and the level of professionalism was perfect. I feel George and Elizabeth go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure your loved ones have a special day with the loved ones. I give this Funeral an easy 10/10. Have a great day guys

I was very pleased with the dignified service of the staff at Sparks Funeral Home during the death and burial of my husband, John. His appearance looked so natural despite his recent illness and weight loss. Every detail was taken care of. and they were always near by to provide for the family's ever need. The military service at the cemetery was so patriotic and heartfelt with staff nearby for assistance. Besides all of this, the rooms were tastefully decorated in the Christmas theme that helped me in my grief , not to forget the birth of Our Lord and Savior.
