Found a new agent.
Eaton Insurance is the worst! Car rates kept going up with no reason why.
My new agent got me a rate at $1700/year instead of $2600/year.
Eaton never returned my calls after repeatedly promising to search for new insurance.
Lower rates for the consumer meant a lower commission for Eaton, there was no incentive for them to lower my rates.
Same with home insurance. Everyone's rates went up this year because of all the supposed fraudulent claims.
Interesting that I found insurance elsewhere much less than what I was paying with Eaton.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I had been with Eaton Insurance for several years. I asked for a new quote for homeowners insurance because the company I was with increased the rates and then a few months later cancelled everyone. The agent (I will not throw out names) I was dealing with was nice at first and we spoke several times over the phone and she emailed me a quote from a company that I have never heard of. I replied to her email letting her know that I would get back to her. I reviewed the quote and called another company/agent because the quote seemed to be high. I received my quote

After two years of condo coverage with no claims, my insurance company sent me a renewal with a 50%+ premium increase. I contacted my agent, Eaton, and was told an associate would look into my concerns about this ridiculous increase but that it was apparently due to rate increase (this was noted on the quote but, having retired from the insurance industry myself, I know such an increase is highly unlikely). Nevertheless, I was told someone would be getting back to me soon.

I have been with this agency for years! They are always extremely helpful when I ask a lot of questions or I am trying to find a better rate.
