If you're lucky enough to have acupuncture covered by insurance, you're in good hands. I really like Dr. Kim. Be sure to inquire about costs. I agreed to try herbs and they charged $45 for a half container of herbs (less than 2 weeks worth). I would NOT have accepted that cost if I knew. Another woman checking out while I was there was given a better "cash" price than they offered me. Oh well. Just be aware- pricing isn't transparent.

David Lee Acupunture had helped me get my health back on track!! Anxiety and insomnia were the main issues and were affecting my overall physical/mental health. After a few sessions my sleeping patterns were back on track! Now I sleep through the night which has cut down on the anxiety.
Along with the acupunture, Dr. Lee shared the Tetrasoma Diet book with me. This book is very interesting and I'm learning a lot about my body and how to identify foods that are beneficial with my specific body type.

Dr David Lee is in a league of his own. After countless "experts" I finally found one. I came to Dr Lee more than 2 years ago after a devastating diagnosis. I was diagnosed with breast cancer about 5 years ago. My oncologist says I am not in menopause yet, however the Tamoxifen I have faithfully taken is causing such strong hot flashes that it was waking me every hour. No sleep and drenched makes me miserable. I asked my oncologist what I could do and the only options were either steroids or antidepressants. Since both choices are not acceptable, I tried accupunture, after the first visit the intensity was less. After three visits, I'm sleeping through the night and frequency has lessened. When I was pregnant with my first child, I had severe morning sickness well into my third trimester. It was debilitating. I had a hernia repair with mesh in 2009 and have been sick with a small bowel obstruction ever since . The MD and his associates who put the mesh in were of no help at all and essentially told me that I would just have to make the best of my condition which was chronic vomiting and weight loss and feeling nauseous . I have been going to see Dr. David Lee for about two months now. It was very difficult to find a doctor who had worked successfully with lymphedema patients.( I had been diagnosed with truncal lymphedema following a mastectomy.)
I found his website after speaking with my MLD Physical Therapist who had been to him as a patient. She told me such wonderful things about him and how much he had helped both her and her husband. She also told me he had treated lymphedema.

I have seen Dr. Lee for over 7 weeks now and found him to be very
caring and honest. Acupuncture hasn't helped my condition (a
lot of very rare and odd afllictions) but we took a chance. I have
recommended him to my family and friends and have the highest
respect for him (which is HUGE for me since I don't ususally trust
doctors).
