These printers are absolutely worthless, and so is the service. The machine would make a better boat anchor than a printer. They require constant maintenance, and break down all the time, (and we only use ours about 2 hours a week). They are not easily repaired, and parts are extremely expensive. My machine has been down for weeks and DCS tells me to ship the machine back for repair, and they can look at it within 3 weeks. To palletize this beast and ship round trip would cost me in excess of $600. DCS's other option was to fly in a tech and pay for his air travel, rental car, hotel, and food expenses

I do not do to many reviews my advice is DON'T PURCHASE!!! We have had this 7200 for two years. We asked them to pick up the 7200 countless times because we thought we got a lemon but it appears so did most people. This Frankenstein of an Epson printer has been nothing but a nightmare, we have had so many issues with parts breaking on the machine that they shipped us several parts which should have been under warranty, six months after that and many many calls later they tell us we can not speak to tech support any longer because we owed then 5000.00 from 6 months ago on parts that we thought was

We have just had a technician come to our location for a repair and installation of several parts on our machine. Juan Zayas was responsive and informative with any questions we had. He let us know which parts needed replacing and helped us educate ourselves even further with each visit.
His service and hospitality were well appreciated.

Our company has had a UV Printer from DCS for a few years now, and it's been nothing but a headache. The printing quality is terrible, the countless times expensive parts need to be replaced in order to maintain the machine, (which is not known upon purchasing), and the time it takes to print, just to name a few. But worst of all, is the customer service. After taking apart and putting together this machine numerous times, my team is likely better than their "tech support", and I guarantee we'd have a better response time. So if you have any issues, which you will, don't count on getting any help

The beginning of my relationship with DCS was precarious at best. We had several continuing issues with the 1800z. After some trying moments we have finally begun to have a more productive machine. We had to go back to Rocky Hill Campus twice. First time was for additional education that was never shown at install. The second time was to get the machine fixed and running properly. Juan was excellent with his knowledge of the machine and teaching for both myself and my wife. Jordan is also an excellent technician especially with software questions and machine settings issues. Just spent the last 4 days getting this 7200z installed and it works better than I had even hoped. It replaces antiquated systems for making ADA compliant signs seamlessly. It's really a 21st century production machine.
Mike, the service tech that installed and trained us on this was highly professional and courteous. Would recommend this to anyone who is in a production environment.

Direct Color Systems has a great tech support team. Every time we've encountered an issue or needed guidance on s/w or h/w usage, they come through for us. We are very tech savvy here, and they still have helpful hints and tricks that we'd never thought of trying. We have never had anything go wrong that they were not able to help with in a timely fashion.
