I was raised near the historic city of Charleston, SC and then for 17+ years my home has been the gorgeous equestrian foothills of Northern Virginia (just south of Washington D.C.) - My husband and I have three "fur babies, " Tucker our 10 year old golden retriever and two kittens from a local shelter named, Millie & Moxie.
I'm an old soul, and while I have Southern roots I like my iced tea sans sugar and do I love the Virginia winter snow and gorgeous autumns. I'm a collector of farmhouse style antiques which morphed into a successful little retail business, "Found & Co." as a purveyor at the famous Old Lucketts Store in Virginia.

Kristen is an incredible photographer! We recently booked a newborn session after the birth of our twins. She was accommodating to our schedule and had several precautions in place due to COVID that made us feel comfortable with the session. Kristen is kind, patient, and very easy to work with. She made us feel at ease during the shoot and worked so well with the babies. Our portraits are excellent quality and absolutely GORGEOUS. We could not be happier that we chose her! Highly recommend Kristen for any of your photography needs!

We had newborn photos done in December with Kristen. Kristen is so wonderful to work with!!! She was great with our older 2 kiddos as well as our newborn, and the session was so efficient thanks to her knowledge and planning!! The moments she captured were so natural and timeless! We will cherish them forever!!! I also love how she has images printed out already and matted for you to choose and take home at the reveal session! We have a bad track record with printing digital images so that was an added bonus!!! Thank you Kristen!

Due to Covid, we were unable to have newborn photos done in the hospital. In the haze of sleep deprived motherhood, they just didn't happen. However, had I had those photos done I would not have discovered Kristen Lynne Photography. I am ecstatic about the quality of photographs that we received. Kristen is creative and I love how natural her work looks. I would highly recommend her work to anyone looking to get photographs done.

Absolutely loved working with Kristen. Very professional and responsive to my many questions. My daughter loved working with her, too. Her high school graduation pictures came out absolutely breathtaking. Love that Kristen goes “old school” and uses film. Makes for a wonderful portraits. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kristen and her incredible gift for photography. She has been a huge part of most of the very special events in my life, including my wedding day, maternity photos, and capturing photos of my infant son. I was so thrilled with my first experience with Kristen for my wedding photos that we returned to her for everything else, even if that meant weekend trips to do it. I could not have hoped for better outcomes for memorializing any of these events. Her photos are stunning and she is easily one of the warmest people I have ever met. We always felt so comfortable

I had the pleasure of having Kristen do my maternity photos! She did FANTASTIC!! The pictures were beautiful and great quality. Kristen was also very kind and accommodating to my sister and me. Kristen also finished the photo shoot in a timely fashion! I was nervous being 8 months pregnant and being in the Alabama heat but it did not take long at all to get the perfect pictures! I am super excited for my little boy to be here and see what awesome work she does with his pictures!!

While my (now) husband and I had overwhelmingly positive experiences with all of our vendors, we both agree that having Kristen of Kristen Lynne Photography there to document it all was the best decision we made in the planning process. Kristen is a phenomenal photographer and artist--we love our photos from both our engagement session and wedding day--but more importantly, she is an absolutely LOVELY person.
Taking photos can be nerve wracking if you are not a super model. Kristen was so warm, and calming which allowed us to really be ourselves

Kristen was a wonderful person to work with for my wedding. From start to finish she was through, caring, thoughtful and made my husband and I feel catered to! We did engagement and wedding photos with her and the photos were the up most quality. I was nervous about looking my best in the photos and Kristen worked some magic! I felt like she always caught my best side, and her work reflected the style and ambiance that my husband and I were looking for in our wedding the whole time.
