Bechtle Architects creates customized design solutions reflective of the unique client, distinct environment and overarching psychology of space. Each residence, business and development follows intentional patterns and basic underlying concepts of living to create interactions between light and dark; space and structure; external and internal; and, most importantly, people, their environment and one another.
Bechtle's mixed-use projects skillfully marry work and play, space and structure, environment and people to support thriving communities. The key to mixed-use spaces is to provide adequate acoustic separation and protect the private versus public experience, while integrating the various uses to create a viable live/work community.
Attractive exteriors and comfortable interiors invite guests to relax, drink and be merry. At Bechtle Architects, we take a compartmentalizing approach to restaurants. Smaller entryways allow for organic movement into other areas as they fill. This layout feels busy and active - not hollow and vacant - even when there aren't many customers.
Resort design is about creating a place and a feeling. Bechtle Architects designs structures and spaces that reflect how people relate to their environment and surroundings. We create courtyards and alcoves for large gatherings and intimate conversations, directing intuitive movement from one area to another.
