Services
An estimated 50 percent or more of medications for chronic conditions, such as high cholesterol and diabetes, are not taken as prescribed. Medication non-adherence can lead to worsening health conditions, hospitalizations and death. Whatever the reason is for medication non-adherence, we have a solution for you.
Medication therapy management, otherwise known as MTM, is a term used for a program to help you manage your medications and health conditions. Do you want to know how best to take your medications to get the most from your medications?. Would you like to have a complete list of the medications you take for your personal use?.
As a long-term care pharmacy (LTCP), we provide medications and consultant pharmacy services to long-term care facilities such as nursing homes. As a LTCP, we provide continuous access to a pharmacist as well as offer emergency delivery of medication. Our main focus is to ensure that patients have access to their medication therapies in a timely manner.

Solid spot, but watch out for hidden price gouging.
I came here to buy a thermometer. They had one in stock, even though most other pharmacies had run out, and it had a reasonable list price. Cool. The place was clean, well-organized, and who doesn't like to support small businesses? I live nearby and was ready to make this my regular pharmacy...
Then I witnessed the guy helping me subtly take the price tag off of the thermometer when he thought I wasn't looking. He rang it up as 5x the listed price. Now, the final price was probably market because of the whole coronavirus thing, but

I’m a nurse practitioner who receives refill requests from this pharmacy frequently for my patients. I called up there yesterday to get a medication list for a new patient who could not remember what they were previously taking. The pharmacist was very rude and kept saying “I don’t know who you are” even after explaining to him several times who I was and what was needed. I kept asking if he wanted to know my name or prescriber number so he could look me up but he refused. If he had just bothered to look up my name he would have seen that they send me refill requests frequently. The owner

Can be a great pharmacy but at times the deliveries can be sporadic, phone lines would go the answering lines, they can run out of meds and the wait can take a few days, which is annoying but they can be good. I don't know why their service can be sporadic, but when they're good their good, but when they're bad they're bad. That's why I gave them 3 stars.

The worst pharmacy I ever had the displeasure of going to. Either the staff is incompatent or the just don't care about their customers, especially me. They never delivered my meds on time, sometimes they would 9 or 10 at night or not at all after I've been waiting for them all day. They absolutely do not take ur healthcare or instructions pertaining to your health. Leave this one alone....terrible. By the way, I've dealing with them for a year to try to give them a chance for them to only get worst.

Alpha Alpha Alpha Most Loving Pharmacy in town I receive the best service every visit I was with CVS pharmacy for a while but my doctor recommended Alpha to me about 1 year ago an I've been happy ever since all the staff are helping an professional. If your ever in area I would say stop in take a look around at all the over the counter items they have which there prices beat CVS, Rite Aid, an Wallgreens.

They took care of my prescriptions , called the insurance and were on top of the problem till resolved.
Usually retail pharmacies nowadays are very money and business oriented , but at this pharmacy , I felt as if family were taking care of me just like the old druggist days .
Thanks to Raymonda the pharmacist there , her sense of humor made my day !!

I have been a customer of Alpha Peoples for several years. The service used to be wonderful. However, in the past three months, I have had to deal with at least five problems directly stemming from customer service.
It seems that every time they have a good employee that is kind and helpful they are quickly replaced with someone who is rude, unhelpful, and hastily shoves you out the door. Specifically, there seems to be limited communication between whomever answers the phone and the pharmacist. This is absolutely the worst pharmacy that I have ever come across. I originally wanted to try out this pharmacy to support a small local business however, the service and the time it takes to receive your drugs is ridiculous. Four out of the six electronic prescriptions that were sent from my physician were lost which delayed getting my drugs. Additionally, not only were most of my prescriptions lost but they would lose one prescription up to three times! I finally got fed-up with the pharmacy so I wanted to transfer and get my new prescriptions filled at CVS. Transferring prescriptions was another

This place is fabulous!! the Pharmacy is under new ownership and they are the best! your scripts are filled instantly while you wait, the head pharmacist Raymonda is knowledgable, friendly and went out of her way to get a very uncommon medication that i was prescribed. As promised, my meds were ready and waiting for me when i arrived the next day. I was greeted by name and taken in to the consultation room because i had questions about a medication. Not your typical pharmacy... the pharmacist is behind the counter filling scripts and talking to patients, not roaming a large store helping customers

I am so very sad about this place! I loved it as my pharmacy for a very long time. The owner, Peter is fabulous! So giving and caring. I don't see him there any more however and the service NOW SUCKS AIR! Things have really changed. Over the past 3 months I have been begging to get some prescriptions refilled. They tell me they will be ready on Monday and it never happens. They tell me they will call me if there are any problems and that never happens but when I walk down there after being told my prescriptions will be ready...they aren't and nobody has bothered to call! This neighborhood business has unfortunately spiraled downhill. In the last four visits, I've had problems/poor service. In the latest, I returned to pick up a refill, ordered in person, four days prior. It wasn't ready (same story about their wholesaler). When I complained to the manager, it was suggested I transfer my business somewhere else. Now is that fabulous customer service or what? Only reason they received "one star" is so I could post this. Be warned!

I really like this pharmacy. I was formally using the pharmacy based in Whitman Walker Clinic, but I recently went to Alpha Drugs because of the disorganized staff at the Clinic. I like alpha drugs because it feels like you're in a persons house. It's not the generic pharmacy feel. Phillip and Natalie are awesome pharmacy techs. They're always friendly and willing to help you.

I wish I could give this place props. I used to live right across the street, it's independently owned, and it's not CVS. It's not your typical pharmacy -- sterile, clinical, boring. There's artwork on the walls. The display case holds antique medicine bottles from the owner's personal collection. He's friendly, debonair, and active in the local community, hosting events in support of noble causes.
