Vibrant Life Center's original location in Oakdale opened back in 1993. Over the years, patients would travel from a distance to get the care they need, and would often ask Dr. Barrett about opening up a second chiropractic office. In 2017, it was time: Vibrant Life Center opened up in Edina. Dr. Joe Sutcliffe joins Dr. Barrett in practice, with the same dedication to quality natural care.
Dr. Dan Barrett grew up just four blocks away from our Oakdale office. He started practicing here in 1993 and is pleased to serve his hometown with natural health care. Dr. Joe Sutcliffe joins Dr. Barrett in practice, dedicated to providing the same high quality of care. Think about when you take your car to the mechanic.
As far back as the 8th grade, Dr. Joe had a feeling that he'd grow up to become a chiropractor like his father. Seeing his dad have a small business that focused on providing natural health care was appealing to Dr. Joe. Chiropractic also was attractive to Dr. Joe as he was passionate about health, athletics and human performance.
As chiropractors, our focus is on removing interference to your nervous system. In doing so, your body and brain can communicate as they should. We correct the structure of your spine to remove this interference. Along with chiropractic adjustments, we provide you with lifestyle advice and home exercises so that you can stay healthy.

My mom and I have been going here for the past few years now. We love the atmosphere here at the Vibrant Life Center! I love seeing this place grow as we’ve been going through multiple relocations. I used to have slight scoliosis which has been resolved through their help, along with a fractured tailbone where they completely resolved my pain. We love it here and will continue to go!

It took me a long time to find a great chiropractor. About two years ago I found Vibrant Life Center. I was always told chiropractors were "fake medicine" and they dont actually do anything. But when I went to my doctor it was the same story of muscle relaxers and pain medication just to end up in doctors office 2 month later with the same result. This was just a bandaid to mask the issue. With the adjustments and advice for stretches that Dr Barret has given me, I went 1.5 years with out prescription meds or a visit to a chiropractor and my back has felt fantastic! It wasn't until my own fault

Laura makes my day when I walk in. Ha! Dr Barrett and Dr Joe has helped me to come so very far. They communicate throughout. I have a brain injury, two fusions, bowel and breathing issues, anxiety and depression and the consistency of my care has made me grateful for each day more and more. I have so much hope now. I got a free exam because I went with my wife. I told Dr. Barrett that I feel good and he probably won't find any issues. Boy was I wrong. Turns out I have a broken neck along with 4 compressed discs from an unknown injury I suffered over 30 years ago.
Without this exam I would have not known of my condition until it would be too late. I have only been on my care program one week and I can tell a difference already.

I've dealt with pain and tension in my neck and back for years, and after my accident this year it only got worse. I never thought there would be an underlying problem other than just being active and getting older. Dr. Barrett and the staff have made me feel so comfortable, and excited that I've started my road to recovery.

I can only tell you how much my life has improved the help these wonderful people. I have a very complicated history and won't go through all the details.
The short version is a year ago. I was in rough shape. However with the incredible help of Vibrant Life Center and my Orthopedic Dr. Every day gets better.

I went in awhile back due to a shoulder injury while working out. Doc new what he was doing but really was hard on selling his package treatment plan, all cash and no insurance. I tried for a week but couldn't accord it at all, then was also pressured to buy these equipment that cost $250 smh
During the whole time he shamed me on my posture and shamed me on the misalignment of my spine. Adjustment literally took 10 mins or less and didn't felt like I was really taken care off. If you don't have boat load of money to spend, do not come here.

Went in to get my x rays and I felt like I wasn't being listened too. I know when I work with clients I try to listen to them and stay in their budget and give them other options to reach a similar goal. And the doctor told me I'm young and I wouldn't be able to afford to get it fixed. Pretty much was told to lay down $1,700 and if I can't right now then I'm doomed and he's not helping. Walked out fast knowing he wasn't willing to work with me because he was assuming I couldn't afford a chiropractor and I'll never be back.
