A truly driver friendly atmosphere, along with more miles, competitive pay and low health care cost! Eagle is an Arizona Based Transportation company with terminals in Tucson and Phoenix AZ. Incorporated in 2003, Eagle offers professional drivers the atmosphere of a small family company while still enjoying the equipment & freight availability of a top ten transportation firm with national recognition.
Eagle was incorporated as an alternative to the large trucking corporate environment. A driver gets lost in the bureaucracy of a large company, and therefore, Eagle was designed to remove those barriers. Having the driver direct access to all administrative employees was a primary focus of Eagle. This includes myself.

I received a FREE CDL at Eagle KMC. Their training program was top notch. My CDL School Teacher, Tim, taught me well and I flew through the CDL acquisition process thanks to Tim and Eagle's program.
After receiving my CDL I began driving Over-The-Road with a Trainer. Leonard was an excellent mentor and taught me well. After that phase was completed I hopped on a truck and drove about a year and a half for Eagle, moving Werner Enterprise loads.
I was supported well by the office staff and the tractor operations team. I needed to get off the truck for personal reasons, but had a good home at Eagle

Entrance kind of sneaks up on you. Really have to be looking for it. I was doing a drop and hook. Lot is all the way in back. Easy enough to get to, although a truck school range is between entrance and trailer lot. The lot itself is big, easy to maneuver. It is dirt, so rain makes it a mess. However, not much concern about getting stuck, just messy. No contact with any staff onsite, so cannot comment on that or any available facilities.

Pay is 0.32 cents per mile after you get assigned your own truck and average 2,500 or 2,700 per week supposedly. 0.36 per mile after a few months or year supposedly. Pay does not adjust to current wage inflation.
They run under Werners Enterprise. Recruiters are professional and attentive but Trainers are unprofessional. At work remember that you also represent the company you work for.

I applied to work for them for a class A CDL, won't take anyone with a record even if it's a misdemeanor. Whoever I was talking to has poor customer service and just hung up on me. The only thing i will recommend about this place is not to work for them and to look at another place if you want to better yourself.

I have worked for these folks for about a year, they keep their equipment up and in good order, The pay is DOE and about average for the trade. If you run it, they pay it, damn honest which is rare in this business, They pay as Werner does on BB Miles rather than Practical, But I have turned 3500 plus in 6-7 days which ain't bad for a solo driver in a 65 Mph truck
