The Historical Vault building The center piece of beautiful downtown Hollister, California. The Vault is a historical building in Hollister, California in the downtown area and has become a staple in the city. The building beautifully displays art deco architecture on the exterior and interior of the property, which was originally used as one of the main prototypes of the Bank of America buildings.

In 1998, the building underwent extensive renovations to preserve its beauty and allow it to come back to life with the new ownership of Ignacio Velazquez. The establishment features two elegant banquet rooms for both social and business events making The Vault a perfect location for Wedding Receptions, Sweet-Sixteens, Quinceaneras, Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties, Baptisms, Bridal Showers and many other types of events.

Whoever is doing the cooking for these events should get a medal, the food is so good! Especially the chili verde and fajitas!

This is a vintage old time bank that has been rennovated as a venue for parties, weddings, quinces, or any event. It's a gorgeous and imposing building, very grand, and it has been renovated beautifully. It is an elegant venue but could work for casual events as well. It's very large so could accommodate most any event. It is on the main Street of Hollister, right down town. Plenty of room for dancing, fantastic for photos, beautiful bar. The staff is very friendly and eager to make your event perfect according to your dreams.

Not really open to the public. A used-to-be upscale restaurant now a place to stage occasional events. There is either a lack of creativity or a lack of business sense behind keeping this closed.

If you're planning a wedding and want it to be STRESS FREE would not recommend this place AT ALL. Owner does not answer his phone ever and he is you're only access to the building and is the person you call when you have questions about the event. He does not call you back when you leave messages either. If by some miracle you are able to get in touch with him he is not very reliable. He gave us a time when we could have access to the building to decorate/set up and doors were locked and phone calls went unanswered. Left us waiting for hours the day before the wedding to decorate and set everything
