Over the past 60 years, the hospital has evolved with state-of-the-art medical technology. This technology includes an on-site stroke robot, an enhanced chemistry analyzer, and updated CT scan equipment. Rice County District Hospital is a 25-bed, critical access hospital dedicated to serving the people of Rice County and the surrounding areas with exceptional care. Located in Lyons, the hospital is open for emergency services 24/7 and provides personalized, around-the-clock care for patients, utilizing a staff of more than 150.

I got excellent care in the ER from very caring people. I had an outpatient procedure done the next day with Dr. Beech. It should have been easy, but it wasn't. The level of care and understanding I received was outstanding. I don't have a high regard for the medical community in general. But had some faith restored that there are still caring Dr's out there that listen, understand and work outside of the box! Thank you nursing staff and Dr. Beech!
