Sandy's Sandbox Child Care and Learning Center has three locations; two in Macon and one in Bonaire, Georgia. The Bonaire Center is located in South Houston County, the East Bibb Macon Center is adjacent to Geico and YKK, and our newest center is in East Macon on Shurling Drive.
The Bonaire Center and the East Bibb Center serve children from 6 weeks to 10 years and house a Georgia Lottery-Funded Pre-K Program which is free to all Georgia residents.Both centers have before- and after-school programs which transport children to and from area schools. The after-school program provides homework tutelage, cooking and craft activities, onsite field trips, and opportunities for physical development of school age children.

Our mission is to provide a safe, affordable, and quality early childhood learning experience while providing each parent with a peace of mind. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum will be taught by a well-trained staff. Our rooms are all created around age appropriate learning centers including dramatic play, blocks, art, music, and science:.
Sandy's is conveniently located near YKK, GEICO and Bernd elementary just off Ocmulgee East Boulevard. Our second Macon location is near King-Danforth Elementary and Jones Elementary schools on Shurling Drive in East Macon. In Bonaire Sandy's is located on Moody Road, just off highway 96, between 247 and South Houston Lake Road.

Sandy Sandbox on Lanier heights Macon Ga is the absolute WORST daycare!! Very nasty and unprofessional! There is a case of hands, foot and mouth at the daycare and are not notifying parents besides a very very small sign instead of openly communicating with parents. I’ve worked in daycare for years so take it from when I say PULL YOUR KIDS OUT OF THAT CENTER!!! They do not care about the well being of children at all. I worked there for about 4 months and left. This morning they decided to “make today my niece last day” since my sister let FB know about a case at their center and changed

My grandbaby was going there... And the infant room was below standards... They are not sanitizing anything... 1 high chair.... 1 bouncy that all babies share... Only clean at end of day... Baby would come home in rashes.. Then they so called leaders would smell like a pack of cigarettes...quite a few more things... But really how did this place get a license. Run.... Dont walk but run away as fast as you can... They into 2 many violations....if you complain they will throw your child out of center in a blink of a eye... Very unprofessional.... Dont waste your time or money ... Value your child

Worst daycare ever.. my child might not being enrolled there but she was promised to be a sit-in at the beginning of time of 6:30 when I came and got my child they were very upset especially the director the ball headed lady with the glasses black lady she was very upset that I dropped my child off I even overpaid and let them keep the money worst daycare ever not to mention I'm working you can't make a mother feel as low as I felt that day for dropping my child off at that daycare this was a couple of weeks or months ago and I will never do it again

My 19 month old is being moved to a classroom where the majority of the kids are 2-3 year olds in the afternoon when her regular teacher leaves for the day.
There is a child that CONSTANTLY bullies her and has pushed her or down and hit her RIGHT IN FRONT of me on FOUR different occassions. This particular child has also bit my child in the face and scratched her on the face on separate occassions. I have complained to the daycare manager who has done ABDOLUTELY NOTHING. Her response is basically to say, "things happen".
