Honestly the best dentist I've ever had. Dr. Bucci and team are so thorough in their exams and have been nothing short of incredible in their skill and demeanor. They are more than happy to indulge your questions and are very up front with the information they provide you. I've never felt pressured for any work needed to be done and any concerns that they have shown were more than valid. I would highly recommend them if you are even on the fence about which dentistry to work with next.

I have been going to Dr. Bucci for years now and highly recommend her office to everyone. Doctor and staff are all extremely kind, efficient, professional, and are masters in the field. She takes her time to make sure you are not in pain and are feeling comfortable and explains what she is doing as she works on you. Oakwood Dental is a 10/10!

Dr. Bucci came highly recommended and for good reason! She is amazing. She has great chair side manners, knows her stuff and gets it done. Dr. Bucci found issues that were not found by previous dentist and fixed, re did previous bad work.
Dr. Bucci is gentle and thorough. If you have a fear of dental work-she is the go to. If you have a lot of work to be done, she’s the go to.
From the time you make the appointment with Lisa, until the minute you leave, you are treated with respect and kindness.
The entire staff there are kind, courteous and knowledgeable.

Dr. Laura is very pleasant and seems knowledgeable as you would expect from a doctor. Pleasant staff although there has been some change over in recent years which is a shame as some of the people that left were very kind. I had a broken tooth which was extracted and a few fillings and a temporary crown put in for another tooth. They accidentally left a little bit of tooth or concrete or something in my gum so it felt like I was chewing with a sharp shard for a week before my next appointment which was annoying but not there fault; I guess I should had said something but I'm a guy so ;). I hadn't gone to the dentist in quite some time and was naturally nervous as I had some work to get done. Dr. Bucci, Nelly, Lisa and all the wonderful staff at oakwood dental made my experience easy. Dr. Bucci's work is excellent and she has an eye for detail. The staff is very welcoming and makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bucci and her team are amazing. They listen and communicate with you so you know whats going on the entire visit. She is a perfectionist and that is the highest compliment I can give! She will do whatever it takes to make it perfect, good enough just wont do. Our family visits her and the team regularly. Our kid looks forward to going to the dentist! Keep it up Oakwood Dental!

Just had two fillings and bonding on my two front teeth. I can't begin to explain how easily this all went. Dr. Bucci has such a great touch and I truly consider her an artist as well as a Dentist. NO PAIN WHATSOEVER, and I was out of there in 90 minutes. The staff is super professional and everyone is friendly. Appointments run on time and the office is meticulously clean and state of the art. Don't listen to the haters. Dr. Bucci is a wonderful, compassionate and talented professional. Oakwood Dental is my happy dental place after a lifetime of dental paranoia with other providers.

GET A SECOND OPINION!!! My entire family has been going to Dr Bucci for years, since she took over the practice in 2011. Initially we were happy with her cleanings and typical run of mill dentistry. However, over the past year and a half, we have been sold services that were unnecessary and extremely expensive. Most recently, my husband went in with tooth pain and was told a prior root canal tooth had cracked and needed to be extracted and an implant needed to be put in (at a cost of roughly $4k AFTER insurance). He was also told that he had gum disease that needed a "deep cleaning" at

What started out as our older daughter, getting a referral from her, now husband, then fiancee. She needed work, and she has a fear of dentists, due to a few bad experiences. She continued to talk about Dr. Bucci, and was so pleased with her bedside manner, and her immaculate work. She uses the top of the line material's, and does all the work herself. She has an excellent cleaning girl, who is the absolute best!! Doesn't miss a thing!! After the reviews from our daughter, we wanted to try her out. For our 31st Anniversary, she paid for us both to get a full, and very thorough check

Yay! Love getting my teeth done with Dr Bucci and you will too. Office staff is super nice and the equipment is state of the art. Went in for one tooth and came out with two as Dr Bucci found a solution for a tooth I lost a long time ago. Who knew that could happen. Very happy now. Time to go eat some steak!!!

We moved here in Thousand Oaks last year July and needed a new dental place for cleaning every 3 months. My husband found this place on Yelp and he took me there. First appointment went fine and we set up another appointment for cleaning. A week before my appointment I called them to see if they can re-schedule my appointment since it's my working day. The lady who answered my call was rude. I explained her I can't be there and asked her if there is any available appointment for me and this is what she told me "It's booked till June". So the first visit was good. Hygienists are really nice and friendly, but the admin side could use a drastic improvement. They owe me a refund of over $200 from overpaying in December. It's now June and I have yet to receive it. They told me in March that it was in the mail. Also, I haven't seen the dentist since the first visit. In my last dental office, everyone was super friendly and accommodating, and the dentist would always stop by to say hello and check in. I felt like part of the family there. I moved to the area a few months back and I'm so glad I found a great dentist. The office has state of the art equipment and a fully paperless process to get you setup as a patient. Dr. Laura explained to me every issue with my teeth, created a plan and was very clear about what and why did I need. She is very gentle and hardly felt any discomfort during my visits. I felt very well taken care of, and they worked with my insurance company without me doing anything other than providing my information. Oh and I love they provided me with headphones and the music of my preference while working

Dr. Bucci is wonderful. Like others, I'm not the biggest fan of going to the dentist however Dr. Bucci and her staff make the experience painless. They are very kind and good at what they do. The office is perfectly clean and not crowded. Very glad I found a great dentist.
UPDATE: I went to Dr. Bucci in august and she extracted 2 of my wisdom teeth. I was SO nervous before but she made the process completely painless and easy. I watched netflix with headphones on the overhead TV. Everything healed quickly and I was barely even swollen. Love Dr. Bucci & her staff.
