Dr. Allen was an honor graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, and was selected for a combined medical and surgical internship at Texas A&M. He also completed a three year residency training program in small animal surgery at the University of Minnesota. The recipient of multiple teaching awards, Dr. Allen has presented his research nationally.

While we were traveling to the St. Louis area for the holidays, our Golden-doodle got very sick and we were referred to Imperial Animal Hospital be a family friend. From the initial call through him being discharged the experience was fantastic. Dr. Emo was made sure not only our pup was well taken care of but also that we were clear and reassured. We went from concerned to confident he was getting the best care possible. The entire staff was amazing and warm, we would recommend the Imperial Animal Hospital to anyone. We are grateful for the experience.

I have used Imperial for all my pets for 20 plus years. I researched all vet facilities in my area prior to using them and they were the most economical for checkups and shots. All my pets have loved going there. Actually so do I. Their entire staff is so cheerful and uplifting. My cavalier recently had a severe eye injury from a bite from another dog. Her eye was hanging out of the socket. I appeared at the door prior to opening time and they immediately opened the door, took her in to the doctor and gave me an estimate of cost. They did surgery and saved her eye. It really was a miracle. She

Our previous vet up and retired. We had to find new vet. We chose Imperial Animal Hospital. First impression when walking in was just Meh. It seemed to take quite a long time to actually see the vet which we did not quite understand since there was no one in the waiting area at all and exam rooms were open. But we loved the vet, she was great once we saw her. She did not rush us and was very thorough. Our last vet was an old country vet and the office was straight out of the 70's, but his pricing was wonderful. Imperial Animal Hospital is brand new, and the pricing is much, much higher. Think we

The love that they have for our fur babies is undeniable! When we lost our Coco earlier this year they cried with us and have given our other baby girl the best care before and after she lost her best friend. Prior to losing coco she had horrible anxiety going to the vet until we started going to IAH 7 years ago, they were amazing w her and have her the best care we could have ever asked for and we’re amazing to our entire family when we lost her. I can’t even put into words how grateful we are for this amazing vet FAMILY. We are new “customers”, as we just lost a previous fur baby due to ill advised vets from a different vet. We were heartbroken and lost. We discovered Imperial Animal Hospital and they welcomed Astro with open hearts. When we walk in those doors, we genuinely feel like our baby is loved. So so grateful for these wonderful vets and staff. Can’t wait to watch our fur babies grow with you!

I have been taking my dogs to Imperial Animal Hospital for 13 years and I have no complaints. They are compassionate with their care, and patient with me. They have never made me feel ridiculous for sending videos or pictures of my dogs doing weird things, which I appreciate.
At our last visit, everyone was so helpful and understanding with my two year old. It made my whole day much easier!
As far as prices, if I ask at the beginning of the visit and make it known that I’m worried about price they are very upfront and nonjudgmental about what we can’t afford to do. If I don’t say anything

Update: My dog is still limping and they will no longer treat him because they said his lacerations were "superficial" but never even did an X-ray etc. They called me to tell me they can no longer treat any of my animals. Please don't bring your dog here! If this is how they treat an out of state active duty military family imagine what they will do to every one else.

I have a stubborn rot puppy with anxiety issues. Every other vet I have taken her to has not handled her well and made visits hell for all involved.
We had her first visit here this morning and I could not be more happy with how it went. They took the time to learn my dog and what her needs are, my pups behavior was tons better than previous experiences with other veterinarians. I won’t have to dread vet visits anymore !
They’re office is super nice too, so that’s always a plus

Can’t speak highly enough about the care and attention they gave our girl while we were out of town for a week! I think she was sad to leave. She got tons of snuggles! Lola is an alpha female so she has a hard time in group doggie settings but Imperial made sure she was only one on one with a human friend. Such a relief for us while traveling! 5/5 stars. Would absolutely recommend.

Just to follow up on this they NEVER provided me video of the incident they claim occurred and the owner never had the decency to follow up, despite what I was told would happen. They have continued to block me from providing an accurate review of their services. It appears they make a practice of blocking anyone who wants to tell the truth about their behavior towards animals. Unacceptable and unethical. I would suggest SIGNIFICANT caution to anyone choosing this facility.

We use to love this place, however the last few times I've been here things haven't been good; last time they told me I didn't have an appt when I did, they booked the wrong day, and now this morning my pup and I are here for a dental over 500$ and staff wouldn't open the door 10 min early. Staff literally saw me, turned around and started working on her computer. It's 13 degrees out. So, I'm sitting in the car waiting...Great customer service.

I've been taking my pets here for years and have no inclination to change. The staff is wonderful and gives such awesome care to both the animals and the humans. I always understand what is going on with the pet I bring in. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I recently had an emergency situation with a cat, Jill, and Dr. Worth fit her into her busy schedule the same day I called. Even though the prognosis was not good, they did what they could for her so I could take her home where she died in my arms 3 days later. This was comforting to me. They treated her lovingly when I took her

I've been a long time customer now. This is, by far, the best vet office I've been a customer of. I attribute this mostly to the owner, Dr. Bates. He is the most caring and honest vet I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He hires the most courteous and helpful staff. They are usually prompt so you don't have a long waiting time with your nervous pet. I can't say enough good things about Imperial Animal Hospital. If you're considering visiting here, or looking for a new vet's office, consider this your sign to give them a chance.

They have never not been able to see my dogs on short notice for illness. Doctors Emo, Worth and Church have all treated my dogs with nothing less than loving tender care. They treat your animals like their own.
Their diagnosis and treatment is always dead on with great results.
The boarding side is fantastic. The 2 dogs love to be together and they accommodate the need. They get excercise, fed regularly with vitamins and prescriptions administered to your directions.
They are bathed for weeklong stays.

This is the vet I've been going to for years with multiple animals. The staff is always so kind. I don't know if any of them have a mean bone in them! They always go above and beyond. The vets and vet techs are so knowledgeable and doesn't talk over your head at all or belittle you because you don't know the lingo or anything like that. After moving, I still choose to spend the extra drive time just to go to them. I don't think I could ever change!

All the doctors are professional. But Dr. Worth and Dr. Church are exceptional. They don't think of your dogs as just dogs and they understand that they are part of the family. I would give FIVE stars. The reason why I gave 2 stars is because of one of the receptionist. I can't remember her name but she's older with the curly blond hair. If you make an appointment with her, you have to state a specific problem. If you come on the day itself and tell her your pet has additional problems, she would tell you to make another appointment for the additional problem. Dafuq! You are not
