Services
First visit for either new patients OR former patients in need of treatment for a new injury/condition not previously treated at Ascend Sports & Ortho PT. This is an hour-long session that includes both evaluation and treatment. We can complete your evaluation without a referral, but if you would like any treatment in your first visit we must have a referral for Physical Therapy.
Astym is a therapy approach that addresses problems such as scarring, fibrosis, and degeneration that occur in soft tissues. These problems may develop as the result of trauma, surgery or overuse. ASTYM treatment stimulates the body to regenerate soft tissues, decreases pain, and improves your movement.

Every person is unique, which is why we value one to one care at our clinic. We make it a priority for our therapists to see the same patient, every visit, for hour long sessions.
I haven't been receiving treatment for very long, but I've seen HUGE results. I've dealt with back pain for over 4 years and was at a point where I felt that I always would. The first visit I was told what I could expect from treatment, and am happy to say that it has all come to pass. I am no longer in constant, day-to-day pain and know it's from the therapy I received from Dr. Mora.

Found this place by reviews and insurance recommendations, and I'm glad I did. The hospital physical therapy i was at wasn't great but Dr. Mora and Victoria at Ascend where awesome. I got 1 on 1 therapy for my torn quad tendon that I got surgery for and felt results quickly. I was able to tell the difference in everyday activity in the first 2 weeks, and after 2 months was able to feel confident to get back on a bicycle. Very happy with my treatment here and can't reccomend them enough!

When I first came to Dr. Mora I was in rough shape. Only a few months after running my third marathon, I managed to fabulously herniate my L5-S1. The sciatic pain that followed was the worst I've ever felt in my life. I couldn't feel half of my foot/calf or spread my toes and rotate my ankle. Yeah, it was not your typical 6-week healing process.
I saw Dr. Mora for about six months, and am proud to say I'm miraculously pounding pavement once again.

This is the best physical therapist I’ve ever been to. They are very patient oriented and the staff is always friendly. I’ve been to 3 different PT’s in the past l, and none of them were able to properly diagnose and fix my issues until now. Dr. Mora is highly knowledgeable and very experienced, it was an absolute pleasure spending my time there. Highly recommend for anyone.

I am so happy that I found this place! I was having mobility and flexibility issues with my left knee after multiple surgeries I had done years ago. Dr. Mora has been excellent at treating it, as well as explaining what we are doing and why. It is rare to find a doctor that takes so much time and care with his patients! And Victoria up front is wonderful as well; she is so personable and accommodating. I also enjoy the text reminders for appointments. Such a great place, you won’t regret it if you try it!

I found Dr. Mora after trying several other providers with no relief for my sciatic pain. While other doctors totally misdiagnosed me, Dr. Mora's assessment on my first visit was later confirmed by my MRI results. During each visit, Dr. Mora assesses my injuries and explains what treatment he will be doing. I like understanding the 'why', so I appreciate Dr. Mora's patience and taking the time to answer my questions. Depending on my symptoms, Dr. Mora adjusts his treatment to fit me. With the combination of physical therapy and Dr. Mora's recommendations for changes at home, I am well on my way

Seriously I am so grateful to Dr Mora! This little place is a gem. I am so happy to find this place. After i had my baby suddenly i started having sever pain in both of my arms and shoulder. Turns out i was having pain from the position i was during labor. Had to stop by emergency room because i couldn't bare the pain. They run an ultrasound but couldn't tell anything , So they suggested me to see ortho .The Dr i saw didn't run any test. Base on the symptom he said my muscle was pulled during the position.he suggested for a physical therapy. So i started googling places and found Dr mora. I found

Dr Mora is the best! I’ve been seeing him for about 2 months now and I would recommend him to anyone. He’s great at what he does, which is evident when you look at how much he’s helped reduce my pain over such a short amount of time. He’s very friendly and has a great sense of humor, so you don’t even realize you’re working out. He doesn’t overwhelm you and is cognizant of his patients’ limitations. I can’t say enough good things about him! His front office admin, Victoria, is also great.

Dr. Mora and Jocelyn are a great team. I came to see Dr. Mora for a neck problem and I selected his office due to it's location. It was a great decision. Dr. Mora was very professional and listened closely to what my symptoms were. He did an amazing job getting my neck back to normal. His assistant, Jocelyn is pleasant and super efficient. She's so intuitive and was on top of everything at all times. The office is small and you get the intimate attention that you need from your therapist and staff. I highly recommend Ascend Sports & Orthopaedic PT.
