A previous company canceled hours before my move (after hours on a Friday night) by text message which was highly unprofessional, not even a call. Pinky's came out and gave me a quote for a fair price on the Monday after cancellation and I was moved by the end of the week.
Three movers… showed up and had me moved within three hours from beginning to end. Ironically this is the same time frame that I was scheduled with the other business who claimed the move could not be done in the time frame THEY originally scheduled. The reasons

They were excellent! We needed to move on the day after Thanksgiving, and when the original moving company we were going to use fell through, I contacted Pinky's. Even though it was short notice and a holiday, they showed up on time on Friday, and it took them less than 2 hours to load everything we needed into the truck. The price was very reasonable (no extra charges for short notice or anything), and was worth every penny!
They were extremely friendly and professional. If we were still in Tallahassee, they would absolutely be our first choice to move again!

Pinky's Moving was awesome from the moment I called to the day I moved from Southwood to the east side! Quick response - I got an estimate, booked a move date, and was moved in without any problems. We called Friday. They came by same day to give us our free estimate and then were there the next morning to move everything. They were careful but quick. They moved our heavy furniture and placed it in the exact location that we requested. They went to extra effort to be sure we were satisfied. Without a doubt, the WORST experience I have ever had with a company. The movers are careless & do not care for your items while moving. Many things will be bent or seriously broken. The movers aren’t even the problem…the owner, was so rude we were literally shocked at how he spoke to me. He raises his voice, goes on a rant when you ask a question,… will call you & very rudely raise his voice & then THREATEN to charge your card more then proceed to say “I am done with this and I’m not talking anymore” and hang up. Pinkys helped me pack my house in Tallahassee then moved everything to Tampa. Everything was packed professionally and well taken care of throughout the move. Weather caused a delay in their arrival, but they worked late once they made it to Tampa to quickly get everything unloaded. If you're looking for an affordable mover that will take good care of your stuff from start to finish Pinkys is the way to go.

They arrived right on time and immediately did a walk through and started moving. Very courteous and efficient workers. They were careful with everything, wrapping up all that the was moved and using a chain to ensure the flow. Very impressive. They had the place cleaned out in less than an hour. When we arrived at the new place they were able to… get everything in without hitting any walls and everything in one piece and we were ready to set up everything immediately.

First of all, Pinky gave us a great deal to start with on a two-stop move. Then, due to forces beyond anyone's control, our move was delayed by a day but Pinky made it right! His guys were patient, responsive, pleasant, and most importantly, QUICK! Our two-stop move included our storage unit and one-bedroom apartment and they got it all loaded and unloaded at the new place in almost exactly three hours flat. If I could give more than five stars, I would!

Have to replace my downstairs wood floor. Pinky’s with Mario as the lead, did a wonderful job removing all my furniture, wrapping it, stacking it properly into my garage. They are the cheapest and best in Tallahassee. We have used them three times including two inter state moves to North Carolina. His men are very respectful and will take care of your goods. Do not get frazzled by the owner, Trent. I commend using Mario and driver Julius. They are kids from poorer neighborhoods but are the best. The worked non stop for 6 hours and got things in place. Good job Pinky!

We used Pinky's to move my father in to a memory care unit. The two workers showed up a head of schedule and they worked continuous and hard until the furniture was disassembled and loaded on the truck. They then reassembled the items at the new home quickly and positioned the furniture as requested. I would definitely use them again.

Trent came out dressed very professionally, and provided us with a quote. He insisted that we let him know the other quotes that we receive so that he could try to win our business. I was initially impressed. I gave him our other quotes and he matched the lowest quote that we received. Moving day arrived and his crew came to pack up our stuff. I was horrified by their packing. They basically wrapped everything in plastic wrap. They would take lamps (with light bulb screwed in, and lamp shade attached) and wrap it up and throw it in a box. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. I literally just called them asking for a move tomorrow (which I have done before with other companies and no problem.) No exaggeration, they said they would only move my stuff for $1/sq. foot. I live in a 1 bedroom, $1000 sq ft place. So they literally just asked me to pay them $1000 to move only my heavy furniture. When I said "no thank you another company quoted me about $200 (campus bellhops by the way) they actually hung up on me. Never in my life have I ever received this kind of customer service. Run as fast as you can away from these people.

I booked Pinky's sort of last minute to move across Tallahassee this 4th of July weekend. I'm extremely happy with their service. I had trees blocking their truck on the pickup, weird stairs both places and 90+ degree weather and none of it phased these guys! They were a man short but worked real hard and totally out did themselves. I definitely recommend Pinky's Moving Service!

The previous reviews must have the wrong guys because I had a great experience. There were no damages during my move and the service was great. Very friendly and everything went smoothly. Very disappointing experience. Moved into Golden Eagle and was left with scratched brand new hardwood floors, mattresses that were soiled from having been moved on the truck bed with no protective wrapping, and damaged dressers. 3 months later, we have no resolution or follow up. I rarely ever write a negative review, but this was merited.
