Berkshire's history dates back to 1988. Berkshire has been an innovator in the use of financial structuring to enhance returns and provide for greater protection of fund capital value.

Services
The history of Berkshire dates back to 1988 with the formation of Berkshire Acquisition Corporation, followed by the First Berkshire Business Trust. The company's focus then is the same as today, that being the identification and acquisition of high quality retail, industrial and office properties with a focus on long term leases to financially sound tenants.
