I’ve never seen a more unprofessional and rude company. My wife called to schedule an appointment for a quote and the guy who answered the phone said that he had no openings today but that he would try to move things around to make time for tomorrow and the he would call back. A guy showed up unannounced and at the time different company was working on a quote. The guy pulled out his phone and called my wife right from our yard instead of coming to the door. We had a tree that needed to be removed and time was of the essence due to a deck we were having built in two days. We contacted American Tree Surgeons for a quote and within 30 minutes, received a phone call that one of their staff would be at our house to survey the work needed and give us a quote.
We soon learned that their workload was full and they would not be able to begin work until the following week. Five minutes later, we were advised they could rearrange their schedule to accommodate to our short timeframe; work began the next day.

I contacted Jim Maddox to remove a tree about three months ago. He agreed to come out and take a look. I said fine. After two weeks, i didn't hear from him. I called back and asked him again when someone would come out and look at my tree and provide a quote. His only response was "soon". Never did hear from him. I went with Tree Tech instead. Happy with Tree Tech. Won't be calling American Tree again.

I am very impressed with how professional this company handles their business.
First off when I called for an estimate my call was returned within 5 minutes.
Secondly, The estimator was at my door 30 minutes later!
3 days later their crew was at my house promptly at 8:00 am as promised!
I paid to have 10 trees taken down including stump
grinding and these guys went above and beyond trimming EVERYTHING else that needed attention and did s great job with the clean up!
I have used other tree services in the past.
DON’T waste your time shopping around!
Go with these guys and get it done right

What an awesome crew that Jim has working for him. We had five 30 foot palm trees to be taken down and went without a hitch!
The crew was absolutely phenomenal, professional and caring. The clean up was outstanding as well. We highly recommend this company and its employees to anyone looking for tree work.
