I moved into a new house and needed to rekey my locks. I didn't do my homework prior to calling them. So a rep stopped by, gave me a price ($350 to rekey 5 door locks) and I agreed to pay. He finished his job is less than 10 minutes.
He ripped me off, my bad I didn't do my homework prior . Elsewhere they charge $25-$40 to rekey a lock.
Paid too much. I wouldn't recommend. BEWARE, do you homework first. Thanks.

(1). The lady that answered the phone was really not patient. I asked a few questions (as new customer, my questions were just normal questions), she then became really impatient and then said things to me ironically.
(2). What I do not like is that they do not want to tell you the price of their service in phone, they tell you when they come here (which they charge $29 for this trip no matter what). This puts you in a bad position, and I think they do this on purpose.
Ultimately, they charged more than the dealer would charge me.

Called D&M Locksmith to book a same day appointment. They fully quoted me a price to come out and a price for each lock. 30 minutes prior they called confirming my appointment and said the quote was only a starter quote and that it could be much higher when they got to my house. The least they could have done (as many others did) would be to ask for pictures or tell me up front it was merely a starter quote. I gave them 1 star because they at least had the decency to tell me they were going to Jack the price before they came out. I'd call around, most don't operate this way.

Made appointment two weeks prior to service. No contact from them afterward. On day of service, I waited during my assigned time slot and no one came. Phoned the first time and they said tech would contact me. 45 minutes later, no call had come. Called again and was put on hold with no one returning to phone. Finally tech called and said he had been assigned to our job. They had completely forgotten our appointment and pretended nothing was wrong. All techs are independent contractors and not in direct employ of the company. Tech finally arrives an hour after our window and is here to install a

Shimon was very professional called and let me know he would be 20 minutes and was here very quickly. Very professional and explained my options. My landlord 4 months ago had trouble opening the mailbox with the key, it was jammed and just very hard to open in general. Well it just broke yesterday inside the mailbox, needless to say I needed it fixed. Shimon gave me my options and I opted to have the lock switched altogether, he did it in 5 minutes and the whole interaction was less than 20 minutes. I zelled the money which is so convenient. I have to say that was one of the quickest service I've ever got! Thank you for making the key for my Nissan I've been looking for a locksmith in a couple places but they was there in literally 20 minutes. The technician was really nice and explained how he going to do that and canceled my old key that got lost. I'm really appreciate it. Hopefully I won't need to do this again but if I do I know who to call

Called D and M Locksmith and was told service would cost $25 for the visit and 35+ for the lock, i had a double lock the guy wanted to charge me $150 to re key the front lock and $125 to replace the inside lock (the whole lock is $40 on Amazon) after i told him he was over charging he told me that he is not "Mexican" which i took offense to and literally kicked him out before i did something bad to him (he was an immigrant too), this idiot was unprofessional and cocky too....will never be calling them....called another local Guy did the Job for $125 and he was not Mexican ha ha. warning

I called them tonight and they sent out this guy who was going to rip us off claiming he had to do two 6-pin locks but my neighbor only locked one lock!!! She did not lock both licks because she had no key!!!
This guy was going to charge $320...so I yelped a company and they will charge $125 to open one lock.

BEWARE. My boyfriend and I recently purchased a historic home. We also purchased period specific front door hardware from Emteck, the hardware alone was over $600. We needed a professional to install the new front door hardware and my boyfriend found D & M Locksmith online, the reviews looked fine.
The technician arrived at our property at 1:40 pm and didn't complete the install until 5:30 pm (it was dark when he finished). Periodically, my boyfriend noticed him getting frustrated, muttering under his breath and sighing heavily. It appeared he was having some trouble installing the hardware
