Originally from Long Island, NY, Christie moved to the Leland, NC area in the fall of 2013. She began her studies in the holistic health field in 1998 at the NY College of Health Professions in Syosset, NY. Graduating at the top of her class, Christie found the art of massage and ancient medicine both fascinating and rewarding.

Plants give us a wonderful tool that so easily synergizes with the body. This session brings your body to a place of high frequency and balance, using massage, reiki and essential oils. Energy work can be difficult to explain. This session can be extremely relaxing and assist you with managing stress; it can open your mind and allow to "think clearly" about a situation; it can bring your body and mind together in harmony.
Your first session with Christie will be scheduled to allow time for a brief intake form and then conversation about your reason for seeking bodywork and your desired outcome. Most often your session will incorporate a "little bit of everything". Working in this field for over 22 years and using her experience and intuition, its apparent to Christie that you can't predict what type of bodywork will be effective at any given moment.
The word Reiki, (pronounced "ray-key") is made up of two Japanese words. Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". This spiritually guided life force energy activates our natural healing abilities in the body, mind & spirit. It attempts to set all these aspects of your being in harmonious balance by allowing you to absorb more universal energy.

Halotherapy, also known as dry Salt Therapy is a holistic approach that mimics the micro-climate of a salt cave. Pure pharmaceutical grade salt is heated and ground into tiny micro particles by a halogenerator and the air is dispersed into our treatment room. You simply lounge on our zero gravity chair and relax, and of course breathe.
