We take pride in our comprehensive team of certified arborists, plant health care professionals, experienced tree workers, and in- house expert soil analyst. Earthworks Tree Service safely takes down trees with the aid of climbing arborists, bucket trucks, ropes and a variety of mechanized and non-mechanized equipment. We are able to safely lower down trees to the ground by being safely in control of every piece. We are located in Ferndale, just north of Bellingham and work throughout Whatcom and Skagit County.
Pruning or trimming away dying or diseased branches will improve the function and health of your trees. Our Certified Arborists use specialized methods that increase light and improve your view while maintaining the long-term viability and health of your trees. In an effort to keep your trees in top shape, we also practice spurless climbing to protect your trees from damage during the trimming process.

Our experience with Earthworks Tree Service was extraordinary! They restored our long-lost view of Bellingham Bay that we feared we'd never see again because of the 15+ trees in our neighbors' yard. These trees had been topped multiple times over the past 25 years but they were tangled and overgrown, and the new owners were unaware of the problem.

These folks came out to remove 7 trees all around a structure. They were quick and very safe about the process, and it only took part of the day. The guy who came out for a quote was very knowledgable, and the quote itself was broken down into multiple options for staging logs for logging, brush cleanup, stump removal, and how much just dropping a tree would cost without anything extra. I'd definitely hire earthworks again!

I highly recommend Earthworks for their incredible services! Brandon Brodie, the owner, goes above-and-beyond to service his customers! He and all his team are awesome, from start to finish! I had a huge tree which was very tall that had become a hazard. They cut it down for me. It was amazing how skillfully they accomplished it! We needed some yard and tree trimmings chipped. Called and they had a crew come out the same day. Worth every penny! From the time I spoke with Brandon on the phone until the crew left -- it was a wonderful experience. The crew even shook my husband's hand! They are a finely tuned team and do good work! Thank you - we'll be using them again in the near future!

WOW! This crew was amazing! They took down 7 - one hundred foot for trees impossibly hemmed and literally inches from my house, a shed, a deck and a fence! This crew of 8 were literally running or climbing all day! I could not be more pleased with the work they performed. They were professional, skilled and cleaned the site so well that it looked better than when they arrived. The entire neighborhood was impressed with their work. I live in a small old school logging town. A retired logger in town stopped by twice to marvel at their skills… that is saying something!

Earthworks has now done tree removal and trimming for me four times. Chris, an arborist and estimator came to our house to look at the job. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and explained everything to us, which was very helpful in deciding which trees should be removed, trimmed or remain. The crew was great too. They were always willing to stop working and answer any questions we had. Earthworks is very easy to work with and I definitely recommend them.
