PC Print Center (or Purple Cow Print Center) was established in 2004 with the first location in Ankeny, Iowa. Our Owners, Grant Maupin and Bill Lankford, were both from Kinko's and worked under Paul Orfala, (founder and CEO) for a combined 35 years plus. PC Print Center was a locally owned option for the same kinds of digital print services they both knew so well.
Sometimes you just need your job done now. In our print shop you'll never have to wait for offset plates, set up charges or drying time. All of our black and white copies and color copies are printed digitally. Digital printing is a much faster process because the inks are a dry powder when applied to the paper.

Do you need your project completed quickly? All of our copies are printed digitally using toner-based laser printers. The ink is affixed to the paper using heat, which allows for a much higher output speed vs. a traditional inkjet printer that you may have at home. Before a couple of months ago I have never used a printing center. I have used PC Print now multiple times for both work and personal. When emailed they are very prompt to reply. They have great prices and even better turn around time. They are very personable when picking up as well. I highly recommend using PC Print if you need to have any printing done. Best Print Shop, hands down! Staff exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They get the job done, no matter the size in an extremely professional, speedy, manner. This is the perfect print shop for any and all types of printing. After finding PC Print, we will never ever use another shop again. The Ankeny store is the bomb! The owner and his team are the absolute best at what they do!!! Don’t waste your time and money on any other print shop, use PC Print Center!!

I am so impressed with their speed and service.
I drafted a save the date for a friend's wedding and brought it in to have it formatted for mailing, which they were amazing at figuring out mailing size and having the return address added to the back.
I had to drop it off at 5pm when I got off work, they close at 6. They had the proof done at 5:45 and the cards printed by noon the next day!
The prices are super reasonable and the speed and quality are the best I have found.

As new business owners in Ankeny, we wanted to find someone local for our printing needs. Each time I submit a quote request on their website I receive a response back the same day! They're always friendly through electronic communication and in person. We haven't placed huge orders, but they still take care of us like we do! For that reason they have won us over for all future orders we'll have. The quality of the prints are excellent and the pricing is excellent! The most impressive they've been so far is when I submitted a quote, they replied back, I authorized the proof
