Services
We are conveniently located on Nashville Pike (Highway 31E), across from First Tennessee Bank. Ample parking for our patients is available in front of our office. Should you need access to a wheelchair ramp, please let us know when making your appointment so that we can direct you to it. Appointments can be made by calling the office at 615-451-9300 during regular office hours.
Lori is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Western Kentucky University's Dental Hygiene program and has been part of our dental family since 2012. Her caring nature is obvious to each of her patients. Her philosophy is simple, to give patients the best care with great compassion. Lori lives in Lebanon, Tennessee where she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
Dr. Rippy retired from dentistry in 2013 and is no longer practicing. Since he has retired, Dr. B. J. Rippy enjoys reading and family time - especially being "Grandpa" to John's boys: Jackson, Garrett, Michael and Henry.
A native of Gallatin and a 1979 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Dr. B. J. Rippy has been a fixture of the dental community in Middle Tennessee since starting his practice in Gallatin more than 30 years ago.

Even if you take great care of your teeth and gums with daily brushing and flossing, you still need to see your dentist regularly. You may not see or feel dental problems like cavities, gum disease and oral cancer until they are in more advanced stages. Regular exams allow your dentist to find early signs of disease and treat them before they become more extensive and expensive to fix.

The place is immaculate! Paula, the receptionist is outstanding in that she has the combination of being professional and friendly at the same time, A hard combination to find these days! ALL of the staff are 5 star. Lorie is the hygienist that both my husband and I have for the six month routines. She couldn't be better! She is gentle and thorough. Dr Rippy has the patience of Job. I know that because he can put up with me. The dentist office is not my favorite place to visit, in fact, probably the last on the list. Yet, Dr Rippy never rushes! He takes as much time as needed not only in his work

Dr Rippy and his staff are fantastic. Dr Rippy did an amazing job and I am so pleased with his care. He is attentive to details and strives for the best result. They have cutting edge technology and are invested in keeping up with changes in dental care. Not only are they highly skilled, but they are compassionate and kind. They listen to my concerns and care about creating a positive dental experience. The staff seem to love working for this practice and are always cheerful and smiling. I highly recommend this dental practice and would not go anywhere else.

Can;t say enough good things about this office. Don't let the exterior resembling a house fool you...this is a state of the art dental office. Quality dental care and every employee has been kind and professional. Dr. Rippy is a talented dentist with a great disposition. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dental experience!

I only have great things to say about Dr. Rippy and his staff. I recently discovered his office after moving to the area. Every effort was made to ensure that I was comfortable and well-informed. My procedure went exceptionally well and my questions and concerns were taken seriously. Overall, I had a great experience. I will definitely return and would highly recommend Rippy Family Dentistry.
