Insertion of hair-thin sterile Japanese acupuncture needles into acu-points located on energy meridian pathways to treat the source cause of pain and to correct energy imbalances. Pressure applied with the thumb and hand along energy pathways on acu-points may help to aid general wellness and increase energy.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, there is a constant flow of energy known as Qi within the human body that carries oxygen and nutrients to different organs. The acupuncture treatment for my elbow pain and the numbness in my fingers really seemed to work. I can sleep at night and turn my elbow with little or no pain at all. I didn't want my baby or me to undergo a rushed Pitocin-aided delivery. Best experience ever. I tried another acupuncturist for labor inductions because I didn’t want to go through a hospital induction again. My first labor, with a. Hospital induced labor put the baby into stress, causing him to aspirate meconium into his lungs. When I found out about acupuncture induction during my second pregnancy, I started looking for someone in the KC area. I went to one practitioner that had me sit in an office chair and placed needles in me. It was the most uncomfortable experience and no contractions came on after the session. I worked with Sue for a long while on infertility, cycle irregularity and a myriad of other issues. My husband also saw her a few times for allergies and commented on how much better his sinuses felt after appointments. She’s thorough, patient and so gentle. I’ve been to several acupuncturists and she’s my favorite by far. COVID interrupted our treatments together but I’m happy to report I am pregnant with our first child and due shortly! I have been working with Sue since 2010. She has extensively studied acupuncture and is very knowledgeable. I used her services while pregnant due to nausea and back pain and the relief was instant.
