Tina McLean, the owner of Active Abilities LLC, and previous owner of Active Abilities Physical Therapy Outpatient clinic in Sterling, now provides short-term physical therapy staffing, specialty clinics and business consulting throughout the State of Alaska and Texas through our Time Off Solutions component of Active Abilities LLC.

Tina continues to have a life-long dedication to learning and is currently enrolled as a transitional doctoral student at the College of St Scholastica, Duluth, MN. As a result, she has taken a step back from the outpatient setting allowing her to work on future business ventures with an emphasis in community collaboration in treating the whole person.
Services
Active Abilities LLC is now a staffing and consultation company with services provided by Tina McLean, PT, ATC/L, CMTPT, GTS and Scott Ruby, Administrator. Billing Strategies-Note: Active Abilities LLC does not provide billing rather guides clinics on effective, compliant and successful billing strategies in bridging the clinic between the biller, front desk staff, providers and payers.
The Time Off Options service provides short-term, vacation coverage for facilities around the States of Alaska and Texas. Tina McLean, PT, ATC/L, CMTPT, GTS is the sole provider of staffing services for the Time Off Optoins. Active Abilities LLC is not a recruiting, traveler or staffing agency.

Time Off Options was started after having sold the assets of a private practice outpatient clinic in Sterling, AK to Select Physical Therapy Holdings in January of 2020.Tina no longer has any association with Select PT Holdings or the Sterling Clinic. In Alaska, provision of services remains outside of the non-compete 25-miles from the Sterling Clinic except for home health or long-term care facilities.
She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the National Association of Athletic Trainers, the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine-US and the International Myopain Society. She has been active in the Alaska Physical Therapy Association serving in the State Advocacy role and on the Nominating Committee.
Many Orthopedic Injuries require repair by an Orthopedic Surgeon/Specialist. Tina McLean has worked closely with many surgeons in Anchorage, The Mat Su Valley and the Kenai Peninsula for over 25 years including Kenai Peninsula Orthpedics, Kenai Spine, Anchorage Fracture and Orthopedic, Orthopedic Physicians Anchorage, Alaska Spine Institute, The Rhyneer Clinic, and Denali Orthopedics in the Valley.
Orthopedic Physical Therapy is a specialty area providing services many times as an extension of your Orthopedic Surgeons specialty areas. Orthopedic injuries involve muscles, nerves and bones. Tina McLean provides qualified hands-on physical therapy treatments for many musculoskeletal injuries involving fractures, ligament tears, muscle and tendon sprains and strains and much more.
