At Darby House our seasoned in-house staff maintains the operation of our event venue. Rental rates vary depending on the day and time you wish to have your wedding. We offer your choice of linen packages and flexible bar package pricing to ensure your wedding is customized to fit your vision. Your meal service would then come from one of our exclusive catering partners.
This outdoor space is wonderful for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinners or networking receptions. Our outdoor space offers stunning views of the Big Darby Creek for guests to enjoy. Equipped with bistro lighting, twinkle lights in the trees, a fire pit, lawn space for yard games, and walking paths, the spacious grounds are available for guests during the entire event.
We have selected amazing caterers for you to choose from for your special event! These full service caterers can create your ideal menu and provide a variety of meal services whether it be plated, buffet, stations, or even a family style event. Open Bars are great when you have a drinking crowd! Instead of running a bar tab for the evening, this allows you to pay a flat price per person for beverage service for 4.5 hours. PLUS, you know what the bar bill looks like ahead of time so you can budget for it along the way! If your group is more of a mixed drinker / non-drinker crowd, no problem!

The Darby House is a beautiful venue with so many amenities that made for a wonderful wedding experience. Having the entire property to yourself gives your guests a private and spacious event space. We had our ceremony outdoors on the patio, dinner in the dining room, and cocktail hour and dancing in the racing room. This allowed us to enjoy the entire space, with a quiet space away from the dance floor for anyone who needed a break!

I don't even know where to began with this review. First off, this venue is absolutely stunning and by far was the best all around venue in Columbus. The staff exceeded my expectations and truly made our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. Alexa, our coordinator, was amazing and very detail oriented. She was able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner and work with us on our budget and help us with everything we wanted for our wedding day. Nicole was also amazing to work with and very helpful and detailed. The staff treats you like family and was able to help us with anything

Honestly, we fell in love with Darby House the second we drove onto the property. With the beautiful tree lines and white fences, my husband and I could already picture the pictures we could take there. Things only got better when we saw the actual venue and how GORGEOUS it is. The waterside terrace made for an absolutely dreamy wedding ceremony, and I couldn’t imagine a better reception room for after. Throughout our entire engagement, the staff at Darby House, especially Alexa and Nicole, was so flexible, responsive and helpful. For example, since most of our wedding party was coming from out

We had our wedding here on 8/7/21. It is a truly gorgeous venue and run by some incredible staff. We danced the night away! Our only downside is that the venue really does not have appropriate internet connection to run a live-stream event. In the time of COVID, we found this really upsetting because we had friends and family around the country waiting for it to begin. If this is something that is of great concern to you, we recommend having a conversation with the venue about it.

My daughter had an amazing wedding ceremony at the Darby House. Jade did an outstanding job coordinating all the important details and nothing was missed. The property was gorgeous and no venue in Columbus compares to it's beauty and privacy. The wedding took place outside next to a river, which was a stunning atmosphere. All of the staff members and bar tenders were top notch. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PERFECT CELEBRATION!!!!!

Darby House was such a beautiful and perfect venue for our wedding. They helped walk us through all of the guidelines and restrictions due to having a COVID wedding and really took that weight off of our shoulders. Nicole was responsive to any questions throughout the process and helped with planning each detail. Having our wedding there was like a dream!

Beautiful farm, landscaping, and venue overlooking Darby Creek! The ballrooms are big and spacious with lots of natural light that comes through the full-length window walls. I would definitely recommend having your wedding here and would do so again if I were to redo it all. Very pleased with The Darby House!

The Darby House is a stately banquet facility located on the beautiful Darby Creek. Built by the once-prominent Galbreath family (builders of much of the Columbus skyline, former owners of the Pittsburgh Pirates), the complex features a patio and several large rooms and for hosting events (most notably, weddings).
The setting is nothing short of picturesque. The site was once used as a equine farm where Kentucky Derby-winning horses were raised. Today it is still maintained meticulously.
