THE MAGLEBY'S STORYA Utah valley family that's been serving the community with the best food for over 40 years. Forty years ago, retired dentist David "Doc" Parkinson (1930-2014) had a dream to share truly great food with the world. That dream led to the original Magleby's restaurant, and for over 20 years Doc greeted Magleby's customers at the door with world-famous breadsticks and a warm welcome.

Our event with Magleby's Catering was a dream! The workers were so professional, helpful and friendly. I received compliments all night on the food and service. Unbelievable service for your community members! My son was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in December. He can't go out and be exposed as he has just had a stem cell transplant. Magleby's figured out a way to get him in, keep him isolated, and the staff wore masks to protect him so he and his bride could enjoy an anniversary dinner! That is service above and beyond-thank you!!!!

We set out to plan a wedding in Utah during a pandemic. As we reached out to different caterers Magleby's stood out as the leader right away. Kristine was our contact and both my daughter and I liked how responsive she was. Kristine answered all our many questions clearly and patiently. We added, changed and changed our minds again and again and all our changes were done cheerfully and expediently. We were so happy with the service that the rehearsal dinner food was ordered from here as well and again the same amazing service was provided by Kristine and her teams. We did not have to lift a finger

Not impressed! Ordered for 15 guests for an adult birthday party. Selected a combination of the chicken marsala and flat iron steak. The steak was tough and the chicken didn't have a lot of flavor. Surprised at the minimal portions. Lots of filler; mixed veggies and potatoes, not enough main dish. $350.00 down the tube. Won't do it again.

Communication before the wedding was a little hit or miss, but I understand it’s a busy time for the company. Other than that, everything was wonderful! Mary was great and very understanding as we had to change our guest count at the last minute due to covid. The wedding day was flawless. Every detail we discussed was perfect and I’ve received so many compliments on the food! Magleby’s even made my husband and I a to-go box for after our wedding and that was a really sweet detail. I would recommend Magleby’s as a caterer for any wedding or large event!
