I have a dozen eucalyptus trees that have to be trimmed every year and I've used a lot of different tree services to do this unpleasant annual task. Absolutely noone has done as good a job as JM Tree Service. Their pricing is very competitive and the work they do is so much better than any of the other companies I've used. These guys are pros - they have a great team, they have the equipment, they are responsive and show up when they say they will, and they clean the trimmings not just from my yard but from my neighbors' yards as well. Jose Martinez gave a very reasonable estimate to do a major trim on an old huge pine tree in the neighbors yard with much of it hanging into my yard. Everything was timely and they did a great job cleaning up all their mess and putting a couple of big plants back in their place. No fences were damaged in the process and they were in jeopardy.

Not only did JM Tree Service come for a free estimate the day that I called, but I was able to get a timely appt 2 days later. They trimmed two huge trees, & did a massive removal of ivy like vines that had completely taken over 3 condo walls to the ground & the patio windows, dug out a Bougainvillea, cleaned out the flower beds, & pulled out the pervasive growth between the patio pavers. They worked immaculately, removed any trace of leaves & tree limbs in the patio & on the common areas. Thank you to Daniel L, Fernando M, & Jose S, for such a great job!

This company trimmed my HUGE pine tree in my backyard and I cannot say enough good things about them! They worked so hard and were very professional! My backyard was cleaner when they left than it was when they got there! My tree was way overgrown and it took about 4 hours to complete the task but I'd hire them over and over again to do the job! Highly recommend this company!!

Don't give many reviews, I like to give them when they are well deserved. Can't say enough about José Martinez Tree Service . Had a 30 ft Ficus tree wreaking havoc in my yard. Beautiful tree but the roots were out of control. Called 3 services José was best price and actually responded to my message!
Crew turned up on time, all very courteous and efficient. Tree was out in less than 45 mins! No damage to surrounding plants/ bushes or our Koi pond. Roots were ground out perfectly , grass and soil filled in and raked and looking like it was never where a tree once stood! Hats off to

Needed two tree stumps removed from our property. Found Jose Martinez Tree Service in the yellow pages with free estimate. Mr. Martinez called back right away and arrived on time to do an estimate. We then agreed to a date and time, but it rained that day and I received a call first thing in the morning asking to reschedule. We did reschedule for two days later. Right before the scheduled time I received a call that the job before us was running late. The technician arrived within two hours. This company trimmed the trees in the apartment complex where I live.
They did such a good job that I had to let others know. Our trees were a mess and they trimmed them quickly and cleaned up as they went along.
The trees look great because they sculptured the branches so they don’t
look stripped. I have lived in the complex a long time and it never looked
so good! Also, they were very considerate about parking their equipment
where it didn’t block our carport.

JM Tree Service trimmed two high palm trees and a Chinese elm and did a very professional job at a reasonable price. What distinguishes them from the other tree services is they have all the heavy equipment, a truck with a lift cage, an on-site chipper and a truck to haul away the wood chips, all parked in front of my home. I have been using Jose Martinez for 20 years. They came to my house today as scheduled, spent nearly 8 hours trimming and stumping per the estimate, and their cleanup was as good if not better than their work. Price was as estimated and very fair. For me, they are the best, hands down.

We needed our Silver Sheens (25+ ft tall) and our prize Melaleuca tree thinned out and trimmed. They are quite overgrown and I hesitate to have them butchered by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Jose came to quote the job and assured me that they would sculpt our trees and I will be pleased. Well~ A Big shoutout to Roy and his crew! Professional and polite!

Jose is very easy to work with and flexible with his scheduling. His crew came by and trimmed 4 palm trees in about 25 minutes. They work fast and clean. The crew was very conscientious about protecting the plants below the trees The fact that they use a cherry-picker (manlift) to access the trees means you don't have to worry about someone getting hurt in your property. All in all the experience was very professional I highly recommend Jose to handle your palm trees. Next, I'm going to have him cut down and grind a palm tree in my back yard.

I am completely pleased with the service I received from Jose Martinez Tree Service, Inc. They are professional, timely and on-schedule. I had two trees trimmed at my home in Twin Peaks and both looks amazing. Everything was clean and neat after their departure; no extra effort on my part to clean up after they left.

Jose Martinez tree service was absolutely terrible.... they broke my fence in 3 different areas! When Jose promised to get it fixed he left us hanging for over a month! Has not returned phone calls or come back to fix the fence that his guys broke. I would recommend everyone take their business elsewhere other than this clown and his broken promises!

I called Jose Martinez Tree Service. A phone operator that works for other companies as well answered the phone and took down my information. Jose called me back about an hour later.
They were great when we used them before to cut down our palm tree in Laguna Hills but when we called back for repeat business they never got back to us. Jose mentioned he would go take a look and get back to me but didn't. He stated that its been a year and the trees are taller now and it will cost more money which is funny because they use a operated lift.
