Meter Engineers Bidirectional Provers can be designed as either portable and stationary. Our bidirectional meter provers always consist of a new 4-way diverter valve*, two launch chambers, pre-run and a measuring section to utilize our patented MEI-SDS Detector Switches and Unicast Spheres. The meter prover consists of two launch chambers, pre-run and the measuring section.
Meter Engineers unique unidirectional meter prover eliminates system performance challenges of other unidirectional prover designs. A custom interchange design provides a positive sphere launch every time. This eliminates the sphere buoyancy problems causing the sphere to mis-launch. The interchange also includes a clean out line, to prevent debris from getting recirculated through the prover causing damage to the coating, seals, or sphere.
