If you have a camera or smartphone, take photos of the damage and the accident scene in case you need it later. At Craftsman Collision USA we're able to repair vehicles insured with any insurance company. As we have a direct relationship with many insurers such as AAA Auto Club your insurer will often advise you to go directly to our shop for an estimate.
Do I need to make an appointment first before coming down? You're welcome to drop by unannounced, but making an appointment will allow us to prepare, make time for you and therefore improve the quality of your experience. Can I choose my own collision repair shop? Yes! After the accident, you can take your vehicle to the auto body shop of your choice no matter what your insurance adjuster may suggest.
The Craftsman Collision story began in 1977 by Bill Hatswell, an Australian who loved to ski in Canada and liked it here so much that he decided to stay. What he didn't like was the low standard of western Canada's collision repair industry back then.

At the recommendation of my insurance company, I had my car towed to Craftsman after I was involved in an accident. The staff was pleasant enough throughout. I later learned my car would be declared a total loss so my understanding is that they would only appraise the damage and report that to the insurance company, and that's fine. My main problem with their service is their repeated failure to set expectations by keeping me apprised of what was happening and when. I waited a week before finally calling them to get an update. I was told I would get a call back when there was something to report

Craftsman collision (CC)provided an estimate for my insurance company to repair front end damage to my vehicle. The damage was extensive and the vehicle was considered a total loss by the insurer. However CC's estimate was provided promptly and it appeared to be thorough and fairly priced. They kept me informed throughout the process and I was treated very well and was impressed with their professionalism.

I selected Craftsman Collision due to the ratings initially. They just so happened to be the preferred carrier for my auto repair. I could not be happier with the way my entire transaction was handled. They assisted with a rental car, kept in touch the entire time they had my vehicle. Upon returning to pick up my car, they handled the return of the rental car. Everything was seamless and easy. I would definitely recommend this repair center to anyone needing any type of body repair. Very professional, helpful and customer service oriented. Hard to find these days

I'm hovering between 3 stars and 4 stars.
On one hand, Josh and CC went above and beyond the call of duty, doing things they didn't need to do with my car, which makes me want to recommend them to anyone and everyone. On the other hand, it was extremely frustrating with long delays for communication, and frustration dealing with Josh at times.
I left my car on Monday and nearly a week to Friday goes by with no response. I am patient, but after a week *I call the owner* to get any response. Now I get companies are busy, and it's Christmas, so I let it slide. I also kept getting

Josh looked at my car and gave me rough estimate which I approved - he then did a complete estimate and review of parts/time needed and it was actually a bit lower - which was a happy surprise. I must have called everyday to check on the arrival of parts for my son’s car. The staff was patient and kind with me calling. The work was better than I had imagined. They matched the fading silver paint on a 1999 Honda Civic and it blended very well with the rest of the car! I hope to not use them again but would in a heartbeat if my car was damaged.

Awesome repair shop. I unfortunately had an accident at work and had to get my front bumper repaired and repainted.
Came here and was immediately greeted my Mel. She informed me of the process and got me squared away. Met Josh my service writer and he told me a rough estimate and went over the process with me.
I was updated constantly on the process and was I feel like the estimate was perfectly appropriate. I was showed pictures of the overall damage along with what work needed to get done. Everything was completed quickly and efficiently, the whole process completely meeting my expectations

Was involved in a car accident that almost had my truck at a total loss. Went through craftsman collision USA, where I was accompany by Jason and Josh. After taking my car to a car wash I noticed my front bumper was a misaligned and coming off on one side. The craftsman team is always my go to to assess the damage and take care of my car. So I stopped by on my way home, not thinking they could do much considering the warrantee expiration and such. However, like always...I was greeted with a kind smile and was taken care of. On the spot Josh and Cesar were able to assist and reattach my bumper - it's good as new. I also appreciate their friendliness - never trying to scam you or upsell - just overall great experience. Definitely check them

I found this place on the Honda site as a certified collision center. After reading reviews I decided to give them a shot. Definitely glad I did and I would go here again without hesitation, although hopefully I won't. I immediately felt a friendly, relaxed vibe that made me feel comfortable upon walking in. The main two employees I dealt with were Jason and Clay. I was updated on the status of my car every couple of days without having to call them. Repairs were done before the estimated completion date and the car looked like new again. GO TO CRAFTSMAN!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

I AM SO HAPPY!!! I got rear ended. Jason took excellent care assuring me how everything would go, timely paperwork and setting up my rental. Josh did a fantastic job making sure my car was properly repaired with the best parts and making sure the insurance company adjusted their quotes accordingly. Paul did a beautiful paint job. We had one of our cars repaired here after getting "T-boned" in a gnarly accident.
But the staff at Craftsman Collision, especially Jason and Clay were excellent, always responsive, and kept us up to date throughout the long process of getting our vehicle back in shape. Couldn't recommend these guys more

I couldn't have asked for a better collision center. These guys are extremely professional, precise, honest and detail oriented. They took extra great care of my car and eased my concerns. Jason handled the customer service portion and communicated the insurance/repair updates via text message. Very cool guy, we got along great.
Craftsman's quote was comparable to the quote I received from two different Caliber Collision locations. However, Craftsman Collision seems to be a bit speedier and more organized.

I've gone to Craftsman several times now for ouchies that my cars and my husband's car have suffered. They do a great job: Excellent service, very professional work and super efficient and friendly staff. My most recent experience (fender bender in a parking lot--other driver took too tight a turn, on my BRAND NEW CAR) was excellent. When it was done, the car looked like nothing had happened, and the whole thing was handled within a week. Painless!
Whether it's out of my own pocket or covered by insurance, Craftsman is the place I turn to when a car gets dinged or crunched.

Craftsman Collision is the place to go if you want your car looking brand new again! Due to driving parking in the city, I had a few dents on my passenger side that were bothering me, one was even beginning to rust.
Came in and scheduled an appointment on a Monday, picked up my car Friday afternoon. Josh, Jason and Paul were AWESOME and kept us in the loop on timeline. I even requested some further repairs and was given a fair quote, this business and its people truly are wonderful. Car is looking incredible and would definitely recommend to all family/friends.

We were the victim of a hit and run. The last thing you want to see walking to your car from work is a damaged vehicle. We searched and searched and found Craftsman. Josh was great!! They were able to take our car and I am amazed with what they've done. Shout out to Sergio and Eduardo the autobody techs, and Paul and Cristian the painters that did an amazing job. Asked for a quote through the yelp app, thinking it would make my life easier. Melanie contacted me promptly and despite submitting multiple pictures for a quote, asked me to bring my vehicle in before she could quote me a price for the work that was needed. Their hours due to Covid were listed as "8-5pm" which I had told her that I could not bring in my vehicle because I work 8-5pm in downtown LA. She asked me to leave work early and even if I arrived shortly after 5, I would be seen for the scheduled appointment. The company texted me THREE times today to "confirm appointment"

After getting on the freeway my hood starts vibrating really bad, I immediately slow down and pull over safely, I get out of my car and I could pull the hood up to the safety latch. After Craftsman did whatever to fix my fog lights the hood was down but left unlatched. So I open it all the way and shut it tightly. And made sure it clicked into place. I imagine anyone who reads this might think I'm making this stuff up but I have not had a good experience at all at this place, these guys must have really hated that I came back. I really hope that I never have to return here.
