Excellent service, very well-organized - DG catered a bridal shower at my house, and the entire process was seamless. The food was good, though we ordered a brunch spread (quiche, breakfast meats, French toast, eggplant, salad...all good) and I feel like brunch items are less controversial. The only thing I wouldn't get again were the pastries - they didn't taste fresh or homemade.
We had some food allergies to consider, and the team was great in accommodating our needs by tailoring menu items as needed. Our servers were extremely efficient and friendly, and took care of setting

We used David Grant caterers for a corporate event at our Shelton office earlier this week. The experience working with this caterer was fantastic from beginning to end from planning the event, to the wonderful staff, and the fabulous food - especially the coconut shrimp! We received lots of compliments from our guests which made us look good too! What I love about dealing with David Grant Caterers is that they take care of everything from providing staff, equipment, china, tents, and they do a great job with the food as well. David Grant Caterers handled my wedding catering for 180 people this October and I couldn't be happier! Dave Grant walked us through the whole process from start to finish and took so much stress off of us. We ordered the pulled pork, southern chicken in gravy, catfish, Mac n' Cheese, veggie lasagna and vegan stuffed mushrooms. Everyone raved about the food, especially the Mac n cheese and catfish! The staff who worked the event were extremely courteous and went out of their way to make sure me, my partner, and my guests were happy. I would definitely recommend them for any occasion!

Was a guest at the below mentioned wedding and the food was literally unbelievable. i am 30 so unfortunately i attend weddings all of the time and this was one of the best weddings dinners i have ever had!!!!! i was skeptical about catfish and pulled pork cuz we were in ct but i was actually blown away and i ate the mac and cheese even though i have a gluten intolerance bc it looked SO GOOD and it was 100% worth it. please book this company for your event you will not be disappointed!!!! the food is incredible

Can't say enough good words about David Grant and his staff! They catered our wedding this weekend and everything was perfect! The staff was so friendly and attentive! Every staff member looked to be having a great time along with us and was happy which extends to everyone around them! I worked very closely with Will, the head waiter and he was amaZing! So easy to work with and was right there whenever I needed him! Thank you all sooo much!! You helped make this day absolutely perfect for us and I couldn't be happier!

We ordered from David Grant a couple weeks ago for a birthday party and it was absolutely amazing! All our guests raved about the food asking where we got it. Not only was the woman who delivered so wonderful but everything was hot and fresh. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Not only were they affordable, they helped me plan everything I could need for the party, most other places in the area didn't even pick up the phone. Definitely try them for your next catering need.

David Grant catered our 45th Stratford High School reunion last evening at Boothe Park! The crew arrived on time, set up was smooth, and the food was excellent! 50 people dined on chicken, London broil (very tender!) grilled shrimp (tasty!) and a variety of sides! Our group had ice tea, lemonade, and all kinds of beverages, hot coffee and tea, dinner rolls and butter and a FANTASTIC green salad with goat cheese! Service was great! Recommended to all!

Used them at the recommendation of a host site for a small business gathering. The quality of the food was embarrassing. Presliced cheese and Keebler crackers glistening in the heat, shrimp wrapped bacon over-cooking in sterno, frozen meatballs doused in BBQ sauce, dried out slices of flatbread pizza, pretzels wet with humidity and heat from a tray covered in plastic wrap. The prices charged commanded a much better showing. Yuck. Never again.

The caterer says in his response to my previous review that there was a lapse in time between the initial contact and our response. This is simply not true. We were told in our initial contact that a response would be given to us. We waited, even called back, but no response was given. We were finally given a hasty and somewhat rude "we're already booked" response.
