Absolutely fantastic experience! Everyone was excellent to work with and extremely friendly. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist until finding this gem. Lauren at the front desk answered all of my ridiculous questions, Nicole the hygienist thoroughly explained each process she was doing during X-rays and cleaning, and of course, Dr. Nick wrapping it up with a solid explanation and recommendation. You can truly tell everyone here likes their jobs and are passionate about their patients. Very rare these days.

I went for tooth extraction and though it was not pleasant everyone in the dental office were very professional and accommodating. The surgeon was really good and explain everything to me and his assistant Farrah was awesome, she made me feel comfortable and was very supportive! I highly recommend the jersey city dental!! 🤗🤗

Best dentist ever, went here to get a cleaning after a terrible experience on Grove Street. The Grove St. dentist tried telling me I have 5 cavities and would need to spent upwards of a grand fixing them. Something didn't seem right so I came here and they confirmed I actually have ZERO cavities. They didn't try to sell me anything and offered solutions on how to fix some cosmetic concerns I have. In fact, I had a small chip and they offered to fix it same day :) highly recommend!

I wish I could give them zero stars, if that was an option. I went for a routine cleaning and the hygienist wanted to sell me everything possible, first an electronic toothbrush and then fluoride treatment. Then the Dr. comes for an examination, and tells me my fillings are old and cracked and that I immediately need new ones and a crown for my root canal. As part of the examination, he pressed my jaw so hard that it hurt. He didn't ask any other health details either. As I was walking out, the receptionist hands me the costs sheet for my much needed crown and fillings ($550 out of pocket

I hadn't been to the dentist in a while, and was nervous about going. However, I'm glad I went to Jersey City Dental. I needed a deep cleaning and a root canal plus crown.
My experience has been pleasant thus far - Kristen (Kristin?), the dental hygienist, was nice and made me feel comfortable; Dr. Ciardiello did my root canal and crown, and I had no issues. Kristen and Dr. Paek squeezed me in for a couple of fillings while I was there - this saved me an extra trip!
Overall a 5 star experience for an annoying necessity in life.

Most professional and clean Medical/Dental office I have ever been to.The staff was professional and friendly.
Dental Hygienist Nicole was incredible. She explained everything to me and was very gentle. She did an amazing job cleaning my teeth, sparkling white ;)
I saw America's Top Model Doctor, Dr. Nick Ciardiello !! He was super friendly and professional. Actually took the time to know me, look in mouth (which many dentists don't) and explain everything in detail. And the big plus with Dr. Ciardiello is that it's refreshing to have a handsome doctor treating you !! LOL :)

Alright - we all hate visits to the dentist. Especially those of us who know we've prioritized other things over our dental health. After some years of not setting foot in a dentist's office, I finally put my insurance to use and researched a few dentist options. I needed a same day appointment and fortunately Jersey City Dental was able to oblige. The process from the inception of appointment through the end of your visit is extremely professional and tailored to your needs.

I yelped these establishment since I haven't seen a dentist in roughly 2 years. I went to this dentist mainly off of reviews.
The staff and team of doctors went far and beyond my expectations. I came in to get X-rays/cleaning and I was out within 45 minutes to an hour.
Turns out I have cavities and I wasn't able to schedule the same day, which was indeed a disappointment but I stand by these practice!

Jersey City Dental Jersey City Dental is conveniently located near the Grove Street path. I like that they have extended hours so that I can go before/after work without taking any time off.

I came here when I lived in Jersey City. Located conveniently by the Grove st PATH train, JC Dental is definitely professional and easy to set up an appointment with. Front office staff were friendly and pretty funny. I only waited 5 minutes for my appointment, but the dental hygienist was very rough with her prolonged cleaning. I take pretty good care of my teeth and should not have been as uncomfortable as I was. I called this office on a Monday to schedule an appointment for an exam and explained that I was experiencing pain in my tooth and may need an extraction as well. I managed to schedule an appointment for the following Wednesday (earliest available) at 11:00am.
The days pass by and I do my best to cope with the pain while patiently waiting for my appointment. Since i work in sales and cannot work with a swollen face, I make arrangements to have days off from work and follow up with a convenient confirmation text message just 4 days before my appointment. I woke up this morning in excruciating pain from a severe cavity. After calling a couple of dentist, I turned to Yelp and came upon JCD. After reading reviews, I made the call and got a fairly quick appt. I met Dr Cohen, I waited no more than 10 minutes before getting called in to be prepped and have an X-ray. Dr Cohen came in, introduced himself and I began my litany of complaints about my pain, and how important it was for me NOT to feel a thing!
He took great care to hear me, explain the entire process, X-ray, and how he would help me with the pain. Suffice it to say, he did an outstanding

Thank you Dr. Dumoff !! Today was my second time in the office. The first was last week for my consultation and cleaning. Dr. D was pleasant and took her time explaining everything that I needed done. Today I had 3 teeth extracted and she was gently and patient I honestly didn't feel a thing.
The staff was courtesy and friendly for both of my visits. I would recommend Dr. Dumoff to anyone looking for a great dentist who has compassion, makes you smile, and talks to you with understanding.

After spending most of my afternoon calling area dentists and going through some online reviews I came across Jersey City Dental. I needed an emergency extraction and the receptionist accommodated me with an 8:30 appointment the next morning. The reception staff was really friendly and even funny which helped take the edge off. The receptionists are clueless and unprofessional! I had to call and verify my own insurance after one receptionist informed me that I do not have insurance which is not true! I am fully insured and have a PPO! Do not waste your time finding parking for this ghetto dentist office...they do not know how to look up your correct insurance information let alone greet you when you come inside the building! They also shouldn't be eating lunch at the front desk...the office looks tacky and sketchy...need I say more! Once I found the building and went inside the small door, walked up narrow stairs
