Our spring broke and we had called Madden on the Sunday over the Christmas weekend and found that they were closed until Tuesday morning. I left a message with them. I got a call from them on Tuesday first thing, however I had already scheduled an appointment with a competitor. The competitor showed up, and very quickly began upselling - stating that brackets, rollers, torsion tubes - the whole system would need to be replaced at a cost of just over $2000. Keep in mind that we have not had any indication that there was a problem with the door or mechanism- no loud noises, pops or creaks. We declined

I called yesterday to schedule an appointment to get a quote. I made arrangements for an appointment today.
I just received a call from a Scott whom was extremely rude and not customer friendly wanted to see if we cod move time up. I advised we were having 2 other estimates done and he shunned me and told me he was not interested in chasing around individuals wasting his time and if after speaking to the other companies and I was still interested call him.
As a customer if you felt u had the best product don't be Intimated by comparison. Sad is I was leaning between them and another but the refusal

Madden Door was a wonderful experience. Although it took some time to finalize the order and schedule the install, Scott's attention to detail was obvious. It was Scott's design services and knowledge of options that won me over another high-rated business. He was quick to explain why he did (or did not) recommend options. We have a great result. Garage doors are not replaced often and I'm happy to say that Madden Door took good care of us.

Yesterday afternoon the spring on our garage door broke. Madden had installed our unit so I called them and explained that we were stranded in our home. I was told that the earliest they could come out would be next week. The "not our problem" vibe really came across. So I called one of their competitors and within a few hours our garage door was fixed.
Needless to say I will never use Madden again!

Had our garage door replaced in May 2018 & they did an excellent job. We knew going in that our motor was the original (circa 1989-1991 era) but since there was no immediate need to replace, we elected to leave it.
Well, it began it's slow decline this year & today we just had the motor replaced by the 'one & only Kris'!!! Honestly, I had no idea how wonderful the new products were & so I know we should have had it replaced sooner.

I contacted the company Monday morning, and a very pleasant lady answered the phone. She was able to answer my questions on getting a new garage door opener, as the one I had was quite old. She was able to get a technician out within 3 hrs.
Rob was the technician who came out, and he was on time and fully masked due to Covid. He was extremely professional. It took him a little less than 90 mins to install the new garage door opener, as well as the exterior keyless entry pad, and make other minor adjustments as needed.
When he was done, he went over in detail the deluxe custom keypad and

I didn't realize how exciting garage doors could be until completing our project with Scott @ Madden Doors. Our needs were a bit complicated given the sun exposure and proximity to a golf course (errant golf balls) and he worked with us extensively to determine the right materials for our doors to guarantee a long life! The torsion spring on our garage door broke early in the morning. I was able to get someone from Madden Garage Door Repair Inc to come out within 30 minutes and replace both tension springs. The guys that did it were friendly and efficient. The price was decent too! I will definitely use their service and recommend it to friends and family!

Madden Door saved the day! Awoke this morning and the garage door spring had broken overnight. My garage door was stuck closed. Normally an inconvenience, but today we were packed to drive to LA. Called several garage door shops and everyone said no way on a Friday. Called Madden today and person answering the phone was so friendly and reassuring. Cristobal came to our house in two hours. Nicest guy ever. Totally reassuring. Had the job done within an hour, and no kidding, price was totally fair. We would have paid twice as much. Best service ever!

We called Madden because we thought there was something wrong with the garage door when we opened it because there was a loud clanking noise. Madden came out and immediate said everything looked fine, nothing wrong but since we came out you have to pay the entire $175 for their time.
I'm happy to pay for a service call but if I were the owner of Madden I may have said since there is nothing wrong and I spent all of 5 minutes I'll charge you $100. Spraying some silicone spray around the door because you wanted to do "something" really wasn't service.

We contacted two different garage door companies before calling Madden Door. The first quote was nearly $2K to replace springs and rollers, but they missed two different appointment slots. The second firm measured for springs and then never returned to complete the repair. Madden Door returned my email the next morning and sent a technician within an hour. The technician was experienced and honest and said we didn't need new springs, just adjustment. In one hour, he adjusted the springs, replaced the rubber gasket, replaced the side rollers, tightened all screws, adjusted the chain and opener

In short, I clipped the top of my garage door while backing out one morning. In a panic to secure the garage, I pretty much destroyed it. The door was old and cheap with no insulation and had a bad crack at the bottom. It was only a matter of time before it would need to be replaced, I just sped the process up a bit.
So I called Madden around 2pm knowing full well there wasn't a chance in hell someone would be available to secure the door and my garage this late in the day. I think the person who answered the phone could hear the stress in my voice.
To my surprise one of their techs was in Clayton

First, Keven came out and walked me through the estimate process. He listened to what I wanted and suggested top windows that weren't common to every other home in the area.
We received a fair price on an insulated 15-foot door, installed. Keven stated that they had a good team of installers and gave me some history of the company that reassured me to go with them.
Rob was the installer for our door. I was surprised the only one installer came out, because they were to remove our old heavy wooden door, and install the new 15-foot wide door. Seemed to me that it would be at least a two person

Eric was very helpful inspecting our garage door and installing a new spring for us. He explained potential upcoming costs we would need for future repairs to other aspects of our door so that we can prepare for them but advised us they were not necessary at this time. Very polite, professional and patient with questions.
