Terrible to deal with. Company takes advantage of college students renting homes in Castine. Lisa, a property manger, would not return numerous calls to get security deposit returned. There was no reason to withhold the security deposit. Took months to finally get check mailed after calling numerous times. I would not recommend doing business with this company. They shamefully take advantage of MMA Students.

I have known Karen and Doug Koos for decades, having summered in this town for over 60 years. Karen has sold a house for us. I have always deemed her to be thoroughly reliable, honest, and professional. Having grown up her, she know the town intimately. She has an excellent reputation in Castine, as does everyone in her office. I regret that one of those who rented through her had a poor experience and know nothing about the substance of it, but you would be missing a good agent to be diverted from Karen because of this.
