Services
MTRWestern is a privately owned, full service transportation solutions provider serving clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our business operations range from short-term Charter Bus rentals to long-term Shuttle Service contracts. We maintain and dispatch a fleet of modern vehicles from four hubs in Seattle, Spokane, Portland and Eugene.
No matter how big the group or how long the trip, MTRWestern has a safe, comfortable and affordable charter bus waiting for you. We work with the largest names in athletics, plus small churches, schools and community groups, and everyone between. Our motor coaches are designed for human beings of all sizes - from NBA rebounders to the NFL defensive line - providing ample breathing room, legroom and storage for athletes, coaches and staff.
Commuters enjoy a safe, comfortable, and stress-free journey between the public transit hub or parking lot and the office; with plenty of legroom and storage space to read, talk, work, or just relax and look out the window. Employers enjoy an affordable solution to help employees seamlessly get to and from work or around campus.
It is our commitment to our passengers and to those with whom we share the road, to create a safe, comfortable, and hospitable environment by following all posted speed limits and safety signs, providing reasonable accommodations for all passengers, and by being completely prepared for any situation that may arise.
In addition to our comprehensive preventative maintenance program on engines, transmissions, tires, brakes, windows, doors, electrical and HVAC, we constantly monitor and update the complex technology systems that keep these vehicles running efficiently - including emissions sensors and tire sensors that monitor pressure and temperature and can spot a problem long before the tire is in danger.

For our convention, we connected with MTR Western to assist with a full-day tour of Portland. We worked with Amber Colburn, their Portland Sales Manager. From the beginning to the end, she was quick to reply and super helpful!! We had a few logistic hiccups, which Amber jumped on to ensure we were truly happy and that everything was going to go smoothly (before and after our tour). Customer service goes a LONG way and MTR Western definitely cares and follows through! We highly recommend them <3

We used MTR Western to shuttle 150 guests from our wedding ceremony venue to our reception venue. I'd never booked buses of any size before, so I was nervous about getting the logistics right. Thankfully, we were in great hands with MTR Western. They sent drivers to our venues beforehand to "spot" the locations and estimate timing, so that our guests would arrive as close to the right time as possible. On the day of the wedding, we had a last-minute location change due to rain, which the drivers handled with ease. And when we had some confusion about the charges after the fact, Mona

Very "slow" response or no reply. After receiving an "introductory" email from an agent, I sent a couple of follow-up emails to request a "quote", but never received a reply after all. I guess they don't want a new business or client. I found a few other bus companies with great customer services in the area.

I have been trying for a week to get a quote for a charter bus for 56 people roundtrip from Portland Oregon to Bend Oregon. I have called multiple times and only gotten voicemail. I left messages twice and received no reply. I also requested a quote online from there website but have not received any reply. How can I give them a rating if no one will talk to me about booking there charter service?

I bought tickets for my 16 year old son and his buddy to go snowboarding on Crystal Mt. I was very nervous but the Staff was reassuring and it was so easy and convenient. The tickets were very reasonably priced and you can even buy your lift ticket with them. The boys said the bus was very clean and comfortable which was nice after boarding all day. Not having to worry about anyone driving was such a bonus.

Andy the Sunday driver from Portland to Salem is always cheerful and polite! I commute to work up in Portland on the weekends. He is a breath of fresh air after bartending all weekend!!! I know I will get home safe and sound. He always gets me home right on time so I can enjoy my 1 weekend day off!!!

Information provided in the booking confirmation was confusing. Attempted several times to get a hold of customer service to clarify however no one answered. We ended up parking at the wrong location and scrambled to get a hold of someone. The worst part was when we got to the mountain, the driver was unable to put on the chains. We were delayed by 3 hours. When trying to contact MTRWestern via phone and email, still no answer.
Sounded like a good service but sadly will not use again.

I was a passenger on one of these buses for a recent work trip; I can only comment on my experience as a passenger, not as someone organizing a trip. That said, I'd skip the work trip in the future over riding on a MTR Western bus again.
The biggest issue was that the buses clustered together like schoolchildren going to the bathroom. One bus is still loading luggage, they're all waiting. One bus has a mechanical issue, they all stop. One bus is still clearing customs -- same story. Add to this that the lead bus decided to stop at duty free -- despite explicit instructions not to --

I did not prebook my trip to Stevens Pass on the ski bus but there was plenty of room and the check in process was done quickly. The bus was VERY comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for my equipment. The bus departed on time from each location which left me plenty of time to ski and down time on the ride up there and back. I will definitely use MTR for my trip up to Stevens again.

Great option from Seattle to Crystal.
Two recommendations:
1. Clarify pick up location in e-mail. There were two addresses for the Downtown Seattle pickup. I was lucky to be at the right one, but I was 2 minutes from walking to the next address when I did not see the bus.
2. We left at 415pm from Crystal. We waited for other passengers. I don't mind waiting, but I thought it was unfair for those who returned to the bus on time. I recommend just changing the departure time to 430pm. Crystal closes at 415pm. Not to mention that we had to sit in traffic for an additional hour in the morning

MTR is an extremely professional and quality company! We have worked with MTR for multiple local trips, and are always satisfied with the staff, drivers and bus appearance! The buses are always maintained very well and the drivers are great. We especially love Paul, a newer driver, who goes above and beyond to make the trip enjoyable for passengers. If you've seen charter buses around Seattle, you will notice that MTR stands out and has the nicest coaches by far. They don't only have one or two nice coaches in their fleet, like most other transportation providers, the entire MTR

We used MTR Western while on a school trip in Seattle, visiting from CA. The sales coordinator, Milena did a fantastic job accommodating our ever changing schedule. Booking the coach was a breeze. We had the same driver for three days, Beverly, who was on time every morning and reachable via text when we needed her. Our experience with MTR was seamless and we are looking forward to using your services again!

So... here I am, on a bus with 28 new friends, heading off to a party, the bus trying to leave the parking lot which picked us up from. What was impressive about this company was two fold...
1. The bus, which was clean, comfortable, and smelled great. The seats were soft, yet firm. The material felt plush and luxurious. They had cup holders and arm rests, it was really nice to be on.
2. The driver. Our driver was the utter personification of precision, skillful, technical, and just brilliant. The entire bus noticed that there were instances where the cars outside, which would have made

Let's a take a trip, shall we...a trip to the land of coach transportation and the magical world of 47-57 passenger passenger buses and a place that I exist in at least once a month **insert a wavy screen image**
As an Assistant Company Manager of a tour, I often have the job, nay, privilege of finding group transportation to/from the airport and, occasionally, between cities. How does one do that? Glad you ask, because it would be the wonderful world of luxury coach transportation! It's a vast vast vast world of companies that own those nice buses you take when you're in a marching
